  1. I’ll just crack this sucker out and we can all get together and play frisbee with it.
  2. You will be the first to know brother.
  3. Thanks Neo. I’m not your typical error collector but, I found this one interesting.
  4. Thought this was a pretty cool piece. This thing is huge for a nickel. Just a bit bigger than a quarter.
  5. For the moment yes. We will see how long I can stay there.
  6. Thanks fellas. Took a gamble that it would look better than the seller pics and I think I hit it.
  7. Congratulations to everyone on this year’s achievements.
  8. I would hope that nobody would have any of the coins from the Bingham collection restored. His monster toner commem sets were off the charts. I didn’t realize his collection was sold on GC recently. Quite a shame to break that collection up. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwiN3_7E8LH8AhWjkYkEHdbyDtEQFnoECAYQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.greatcollections.com%2Fkb%2FSpectacular-Commemorative-Collection-of-NFL-Veteran-Gregg-Bingham-to-be-Auctioned-by-GC-t471-4.html&usg=AOvVaw295mS459cJhHQIJn4ochRq
  9. I have to say after reading this thread and now seeing the place of sale, this coin is not going to be legit in any way. I would avoid buying coins from Etsy in the future. That site is well known for selling counterfeit coins.
  10. @Fullhorn I was able to check out your registry set. It’s a very nice collection you have. The images are very well done. Is that your own work?
  11. Sounds like a good opportunity for you. Give you a chance to talk to some other collectors face to face and get to see some coins in hand that maybe you don’t get to see very often. Hope it works out for you.
  12. I would say it is highly unlikely that this was struck through cloth on both sides. Looks more like it was chemically treated with acid which has eaten the metal away.
  13. Then it will be worth Eleventybillion dollars!
