I done pretty good. My son bought me 2019 w Lowell quarter ms66. Now I got the whole set certified by NGC in ms 65 and ms 66. I also snuck and bought myself a couple coins. But my old lady caught me where I accidentally selected her Mastercard on Ebay. PS: Also got a pair of Homer Simpson pj's

I did it on another coin before that one and that seller canceled it for me no problem and transfered funds back. And I bought it with my card instead of hers after they helped me. That other seller told me that USPS is already expecting the package and more than less didn't want to fool with it. More than less told me it was my problem and not theirs.

She almost took it back. I ordered a coin off Ebay and accidentally selected her credit card instead of mine. Got them both saved on there. It was an 80 dollar coin. Man she is very mad. I instantly saw what I done and hit cancel. Old dude wouldn't cancel it for me. Said he done shipped it. I canceled it 3 seconds after I bought it. Was gonna buy it again using my other card. Thats the fastest 3 second shipping I ever seen in my life. Lol. Shes very mad now because its gonna overdraw her bank soon as a check clears unless I can get to bank Saturday if they are open. Luckily she has a deal with her bank where the check won't bounce. It will just cost a 35 dollar fee for overdrawing. But she's fired up and I almost lost my little Rosie.

Im hoping to purchase that book here in the near future. Id love looking at all the different coins. I bet they got the best of the best grades in there. Im sitting here reading RWBs book right now. Very interesting. Learned so much i never thought of before

My wife let the boys and I open one of our Christmas presents this morning. She knew I been wanting to add one of these to my collection. Ive noticed that some of these are ranked 21 and some 22 on the list of greatest U.S. coins. But how could the same coin have 2 different ranks. Was this a decision that was made later after they ranked it the first time. Thank you for replies in advance. And also Merry Christmas. Happy birthday to our dear sweet Lord Jesus.

Its a big relief knowing they didn't scratch up a real one. Thats still a bad habit. Be awful if someone scratched up a big CC that was real or any of them far as that goes. Sadly there is people out there who don't have any better sense than that.

After I looked at it the second time I'm saying a 68 also. If it weren't magnified so much those tiny dings would hardly be noticeable. Good eye on that. Maybe even a high end 68. Close to a 69. Its a sweet sweet dime. Great find. Congratulations on it. Cant wait till the big dogs weigh in on it. See how close we got or if we're missing something.

Another thing I learned. I never knew back in those early years that we got our gold from so many countries. I always thought that it was mostly mined locally. It came from all over. I learned so many things from this book already and I'm only on page 23.

I cant wait to get my first gold coin. I got to reading this other book and I'm to the part thats talking about the gold being mined and took in to the mint. I got 3 little vials of gold nuggets. Roughly 3 grams sorted out in different sizes. Im so excited about reading it I took those vials out sitting here admiring it and shaking it a little. Then ill read a few more minutes and then shake my gold again and so on. Lol. Just looking at those little vials of gold gets me to thinking of how hard those miners worked back in those days to get those small amounts. Things like that just amaze me so much. Im like a kid when it comes to this kind of stuff. I wish I'd got into this hobby when I was a teenager. I wasted my younger years.

That is a sweet looker. Im gonna guess ms 67 FT just from what I see. I see a couple little rim dings. And a slight discoloration spot on the cheek. When some of you experts chime in tell me where I messed up. I been trying to teach myself a little on how to grade. So far I'm failing my course. Need some criticism and some guidance on where I need to go. It sure is a beauty of a dime though. Id be very happy to add one like that to my collection. Maybe a ms 68 after I take a second look.

Same here. I mostly buy graded coins. Unless I'm buying from the mint. I've bought a few raw ones. I've got burned up a couple times doing so.

Ill probably just end up buying one of the books and add it to my collection. That way if I ever do get a saint, and want to know something about it, I can just pull it out and have it.

I probably will get it and read up on them first. Hopefully I can get one sooner than later. Especially if I can sell one these kidneys on the black market. Lol. May throw in a couple toes to go with it. Even if I don't get one I still would like to read up on them.

I don't have any Saints as of now. Id love to get one but I can't afford any. Hopefully one of these days down the road I will be able to buy one. They are very beautiful coins.
