Hey stick around there are guys here that have been doing this for over 50 years.  they can tell ya in a second what you have and if it is worth anything.. heck and if your lucky enough they will even rib you about it,  But dont worry everyone here has gotten the ribbing once or twice..

If you like i can send you about 2 to 3 thousand of these wheats just to get them off my hands. There are really only a handful of Lincoln Cents that are worth the time and these are one of them.   sorry just a few old wore out cents.

yes sir @J P M is cor4rect that is done by the crimper on a rolling machine.  nothing special.  Just a hint of advice please dont learn your collecting habit from YouTube.    there are a lot of junk collectors out there that are trying to hock to the unsuspecting and new collector.   

i wouldn't waste my money on these.  most are in circulated condition i would move them to a better album and enjoy them just as they are.

well  NMM is supposed to be reserved for those coins that were supposed to have a mint mark on them not for coins that  were not supposed to have it on there..  any coin before i think '79 will not have a mint mark on it if it was from the Philly mint.  unless it is a war nickel form 42-45.  This coin is far from making a step designation. IMO it barley makes UNC. conditions.  sorry

those bullion coins that have been painted are considered damaged by collectors.  with that being said there is a market for them and are collected.   if you like it that is all that matters.   some of the modern mints have started to produce colorized coins however i do not think that the Chinese new year coins in 2012 were releases as colorized coins.

reminds me of what W.C. Fields said "there is a sucker born every minute"    or was that VKURTB  so you need to educate yourself on the series you are concentrating on learn about before you ever pull the trigger on the coin you want.

yes what the @Fenntucky Mike  says is correct..  It would grade details with all of the nicks and rim damage.  it is worth a little over $200.

hooah @xinfantry  the @Coinbuf is correct yo find the wheel marks you need to tilt the coin at an angle to the light so that you start to see where the dullness from the rub is.   and like they say you can either crack it out and resubmit or leave it in the holder and go for a reconsideration.
