  1. Seems like a lot to do over a die clash. I have seen more pronounced clashes then that one. Looks like another candidate for eBay sellers.
  2. As per your other coins, not a DD. Please study up on what constitutes a Doubled Die.
  3. If you weigh all your change, then you should take into account that there are mint tolerances for all business strikes.
  4. There is a big difference between a true error and damage. There are countless ways a coin can be damaged but there are limited ways that can cause an error. To learn what a true error is, suggest going to a site such as error-ref.com Remember, an error can only occur during the actual striking of the coin, anything that happens after the coin is ejected from the striking chamber is considered damage.
  5. Agree Just a damaged quarter. Another coin has been pressed into the Obverse, the Reverse is just damage. Might as well spend it
  6. Welcome to the forum Please follow the Coin Marketplace Guidelines when posting. You have provided no information whatsoever.
  7. Welcome to the forum. What Just Bob said plus the fact they are no longer being recognized by the graders as they are not really an error and are too common. Theoretically they can appear on any year memorial cent so the year should not really matter.
  8. You should really be weighing your coins to at least two decimal points, one is not accurate enough for coins. Your cent is probably from a slightly thicker planchet, the same as there are thin planchets, there are thick planchets. Also those are not letters above the date, they are circulation marks.
  9. On the main heading, click on “Resources”. Scroll down to “Locate Dealers”. Enter your postal code and it will tell you the nearest dealer. correct typo
  10. Where you got them from doesn’t really matter, they are both damaged.
  11. Duplicate Post As per your other post the bottom two are Small Dates.
  12. Enjoy the hunt Hog. Looks like you are going to have something to do instead of sitting around a motel room.
  13. Welcome to the Forum. Agree with the above. That looks like Die Deterioration Doubling, another worthless type of Doubling.
  14. Welcome to the Forum This forum is for registry sets, I have asked a mod to move it to the proper forum. To answer your question, both of those quarters are just damage and worth 25 cents each.
  15. Can’t be full steps with that ding. It breaks the lines.
  16. It is called damage as it occurred after the coin was struck.
  17. Agree with the above. That is a one look counterfeit. The rims and date are dead giveaways. No value except as a novelty.
  18. Welcome to the Forum. You should really have posted this in the Newbie Coin Forum for maximum coverage. This forum is for questions unrelated to numismatics. I have asked for a mod to move it. As far as your coin goes, a clear photo of both sides is required as their are countless numbers. of counterfeits out there. You can buy one of off one of the Chinese sites for a couple of dollars.
  19. Welcome to the forum. Please follow the Coin Marketplace guidlines for posting in this forum. The information is right above your post. You give no information whatsoever. Also quarters from the 80’s and 90’s are not vintage, they are fairly common.
  20. Just one of the many silver bullion pieces out there, not even a coin. Worth 1 ounce of silver.
  21. If you mean a small date, yes it is.
