  1. Hi everyone, for a coin to be considered a shattered die, does the crack have to start from the rim and end somewhere on the rim. Just asking because this die crack I'm seeing it's crossing over each other like it would also be called a shattered die. I'm also wondering what could be going on under the Bowie of Lincoln. I'm thinking a die chip. Thanks
  2. During 1922, the Lincoln cent was only struck at Denver mint. I'm going with James as a struck through grease die. It looks real, and possibly would pass as a no "D" Lincoln cent.
  3. Could this possibly be called a prisoner clash, because it's kind of like Washingtons in jail . Just asking since there's a Lincoln prisoner clash.
  4. Thanks JP, let's hope nobody holds you at gun point. It's just a lousy coin. I'm thinking PMD myself.
  5. Thank you, pretty much any errors are good for my error collection. Never know some day could bring good deeds to these.
  6. Thanks everyone, I know die chips are genuine errors, but didn't know collector's look down on these types of errors on coins.
  7. Thanks, you're welcome .thought it would be easier than everyone looking up the overlay on this.
  8. You can see die clash going on under Washington ear. And some on the reverse of coin. Pretty cool knowing it's a die clash other than a die chip.
  9. Since there's a big hype on Extra Cactus Leaf, thought I would show a double. My question is ,how did they figure out to call it this. Obviously it looks just like a rock. Cool find though.
  10. Thought I would share this also. Really cool and interesting find. The die crack doesn't come from the rim, but cool enough to make the track look broken. Why I like the die cracks from rim, is because I'm looking for a rim to rim die crack. I feel those are fun to look at. If I keep hunting I'll find one for my collection.
  11. Was this sitting in a cup of cherry Kool-Aid. I have not seen a red coin like this. This is to funny, now watch this might be real. it does have a glossey look to it, but can't seem to capture that part in the photo.
  12. Hey everyone, just bored the last couple of days and can't help looking over some old stuff. I came across this mint set, and finding unusual stuff in this set. Guess if you looking for that perfect set, we'll this is not the one. There's a good portion of the steps missing and wondering if this is caused by a worn out die. Any help on this would be great thanks.
  13. Would this be a struck through, or damaged of it being handled while being placed in the holder. Very unique peice to stumble across.
  14. Thanks everyone, yeah I know there's no spectacular errors on these. Pretty much comman. Some are just pretty cool to find.
  15. Thanks everyone for the advice on this. Still hunting for interesting coins out there.
  16. Hey everyone, just try to get others opinion if this is possibly a RPM-001. Or I'm I seeing this different, and might be a RPM not known yet. I've been studying on variety vista, but can't come up with anything, other then close to a 001. Thanks
  17. Hey everyone, just wanted to share this quarter. There's seems to be die chips and other stuff going on with this coin. Washington needs a tissue lol. It has a die crack on obverse from rim through the R and along the bottom bust of washington. Thought this was a awesome find. Any opinions on this would help. Thanks
  18. Thanks JP, and Al for helping me with this. Thought it was interesting.
  19. Hi everyone, I want to say this looks like a over polishing instead of grease die. If I'm wrong can you let me know so I have this correct. It's the lines behind the eagles neck and shield. The one line doesn't connect to the bottom star. Thanks for any advice.
  20. I've been looking this up and can't find a match. I feel I'm close to a RPM -009 but not sure. Could this possibly be a RPM. Thanks for any advice.
  21. Thanks guys, finding cool stuff is always fun.
