  1. I am the worst to detect Doubled dies and RPMS. thought I would show,  but thinking this could be erosion around the mint mark. There's only one I found searching on variety vista, that one shows north of the mint mark.

Yeah, usually when I'm away for a bit, then come back to the forum I try to catch up reading threads to understand what is happening. He's just gaslighting that's typical to see. Usually if I know which ones they are, I ignore them. Thanks for the heads up.

  3. I know this is Machine Doubling, my question is, when you find this type of none since happening at the last numeral of the date, is the mint press of the coin pressure causing that to happen. I've been researching how mint coins are made , but interesting  and fun to know more about how the minting process works. Thanks

Also, they call the 1955 a poor man's double die. This coin probably isn't called that , just comparing the two.

I would say that is die erosion "doubling" from a well overused die. You can see the strong metal flow "lines" on the obverse going out towards the rim which is an indication of dies that are overused and nearing the end of their production life.

I think true incuse doubling looks different than this.

    Thank you

  5. Went to the bank and grabbed a few rolls of coins,  since I have free time until after the 4th. I went through a roll of halves and seen this die chip on and around the top part of the leaves. Which could easily be mistaken as an extra leaf. Especially what people are coming up with these days lol.

My question, the pointed bottom feather in the center of the tail feathers, is that also a die chip. I want to say doubling but not sure. Did research, and didn't find errors or anything on 2021 half dollar's. That pointed feather doesn't look right by viewing other images. Thanks.
