I really dislike when people give "cute" names to minor errors.  I see this on ebay where sellers try to hype minor, non value added errors so new collectors might think they're special and pay a premium.  Sorry, just one of my "hot buttons".

Hoopster, don't mess up my fun bud. Ahahahah, just joking. I hear where you coming from. It should be stated as what the real error is, and then move on. Real collector's know the legit way to refer an error or other information on coins. Called professional way of terms. :D

So you are looking for a 1973 with a small FG. Is that something new Hinkle? I only look for mostly Die Cracks or errors that are listed on NGC and PCGS because almost all the other stuff is too minor or just click bait.

Don't think this is new but , the 72, 73, and 74 are all three different sized "FG". Just curious with the 1988 with 89 reverse that it would be possible with the 1973s. It would be really cool to find one of those. But would be unlikely.

  3. Thanks guys,

:signofftopic: has anyone been watching for the  1972 penny with a 73 reverse or a. 73 with a 74 reverse or 74 with 73 reverse. Just asking because the 1973 penny was the only year they came out with the large "FG".  I've been keeping a close eye out for something like that. Never know with all these errors going on.hm thanks.
