  1. For them to hit 400,000 in this economy, (non-political statement, I'm talking about savings erosion and discretionary spending) would be near impossible. I'm guessing a little over 100,000 Silver coins across all options. Maybe about 7,000 Gold Coins (UNC. + PF.) because the popular 5 oz. Silver Puck will sell big time, it has that look to it. I do like the designs, but Modern collector Gold numbers keep getting lower and many Government workers are without Pay (non political statement just giving reason for less collectors to be able to purchase).

Can anyone explain the Apollo 11 half ounce gold coin spoke of above? I missed that? Is that a U.S. Mint issue and $2000 for $620 worth of gold or something? Then a full ounce? Is it a Medal or Legal tender Coin?

Yeah I would say 20 out of 104 coins in my Morgan Dollars, 1878-1921, Circulation Issue are PCGS

All of my 1883 Proof Set are all NGC

    Thanks for asking

Noticed no pic for the 1895-S tough coin and in a grade I owned once...I know most are probably around that grade just saying....cool...

Strange that some of you's guys pictures are not showing up.

That said I have been gone so long I did not know I could not put PCGS coins in my Morgan registry anymore. I understand but come on :)

Its the last coin in my registry set … uhuh that one  … 1893-s … Have a look and enjoy

That's a little tougher one, I like its honest wear...do you have more coins in NGC plastic than pcgs in registries....

He has 14 posts, 12 of them in coin marketplace showing off coins or offering them for sale on a website, 1 post showing an 1839 O half that was slabbed as a PF-64 by NGC which he apparently cracked and sent to PCGS and they declined to call it a proof.  The last post is the one here where he is apparently miffed at PCGS for not apologizing, probably for not calling it a proof coin.

OK thanks, he was off subject for me but my curiosity took me down the rabbit hole...Thank you for the clarity...I just learned a lesson actually...Peace.

Not sure about the different methods or specifics other than the die used and age of die, however I like them both, I normally read the top 50 U.S. collected coins for grading purposes and us coin book for value, however I'm always willing to learn, study, and gain knowledge, any advise or opinions are welcome, so is the 2018 D common and nothing special? Thank you for the reply, Capone1929

Unless an error or extremely high grade or PL "proof like" I don't think so? Knowledgeable collectors say the Denver mint strikes coins better, higher quality, I still find that true on moderns also...the newest modern year I know more about is 2015.  Your in the right place, the people posting here with high post counts are very knowledgeable and help alot I've noticed over the years...that's why I chose here...just a better environment for everyone..people..like Condor, just Bob, they are important here...there's more I'm not listing...just saying...

I think ive been navigating and posting wrong by starting new topic, but I'm not sure, I started it in Ask NGC, but I found a real interesting 2018 D shield cent in my penny jar today! I posted it in Ask NGC forum about a strange 2018 explained a lot about it and posted a lot of pics so I don't want to blow up this forum up with thevsame info, I haven't had anyone reply, I think because I replied to my own to post pics and info, I apologize if I didn't do things correctly however I sure would appreciate if someone could go to the ask NGC forum and take a peek at the post/forum and see what they think about it! Strange 2018 D shield cent error. Please and Thank You Greatly, Capone1929

What kind of coin books do you have? I recently gave a Lincoln Cent Reference book away but The Red Book is a real good start. Do you prefer Lincoln Cents in Mint State or Proof Method of Manufacture? Are there other coins you like looking at or collect?

I'm unfamiliar with that Sacagawea, what set did it come in?

2015 Native American Coin and Currency Set, Enhanced Uncirculated West Point Mint. Limited Production of 90,000 Sets, 89,780 Possible. Labeled as Production due to a Paper One Dollar Bill included in the Set with the Serial Numbers beginning with numbers "911", as a tribute to 911 Memorial. The Nearby Mohawk Workers witnessed the disaster that Morning and began Saving Souls and Removing Debris in the nearby area. Heroically, a worker from Akwesasne recovered the AMERICAN FLAG which was flying atop the Trade Center prior to the disaster. This Famous Flag was flown at the Winter Olympics in Recognition of all who were lost, saved and involved and supported in Recovery and Event. West Point Mint was chosen for the Special Striking of the SAC Dollar coin with a Focus on Quality, having a repeated inspection process of all coins. (Hence the Rarity on Existing Errors regardless how minor)

IIRC, this offering from the U.S. Mint and BEP Sold out within 7 minutes...NOTE: can be purchased on Ebay for $23-up...Limited Production of 90,000 seems high, that info is second hand but believable for a Modern Issue. It is the Second Rarest Enhanced Finish Coin ever produced by the Mint.
