Okay you copper guys, of which, I have no skill or right to buy anything of the sort. I bought this off of Ebay only because it looked different. Color / Sharpness of detail.
IS this possibly a MPL - I do understand the NON VDB is a little rarer than the VDB. Please inform. Seems to have some markers but I am just using my phone for pictures. Is the color right -RIM etc. Enlighten me o masters of the the copper :-)

Others might have different opinions, but my thought is that common date Morgan and Peace dollars probably aren't worth getting graded unless they will grade MS64 or better. And the Peace dollars are marginal, even at that grade level.
That said, a major part of the equation is what price you can obtain for the coins without getting them graded. You will need to find out what you can get for the coins as they are and compare that to the anticipated price you will get if they are graded 64 (or better). Then, add in the cost of grading and postage.
Here is a link to NGC's grading tiers and fees: https://www.ngccoin.com/submit/services-fees/
If you can post a few images, it might be helpful.
Lemme see too :-)

Exactly where is the scratch? On the right rim?
It's a very beautiful penny.
There are numerous things I would call scratches - Above the Liberty there is a "v" type scratch in the field above it. Also between 2-3 o'clock position
there are numerous scratches on the rim. I would say the rim is the more unsightly ones to me. My two cents of course

Picked this up from "RGT" Randy. The pics he posted are great and I think the coin in hand is MUCH better than the pics! The coin actually has PL qualities (I think, but I am a relative newbie).
I am partial to this year - NICE COIN Eric
