The only thing I see is VKURT being a little dis-KURT-eous concerning Karens excitement on a possible DD.
Otherwise I guess we will have to wait for a comment.
Hope you stay I like your enthusiasm

I think there needs to be more consistent correlation between straight graded Coins and Ones that are designated CAMEO
I find a discrepancy's in quite a few of my coins as compare to the coins of set of the 1883 #1 set / Mine being the #2 set
Please review and inform
1883 Proof Set #2 is mine / Case and point is the MY CAMEO trade dollar point structure against its straight grade coin
in Set #1 1883 Proof.
Please inspect and inform of your findings.
Thanks
( If this is not in the right forum please transfer to the proper one - thanks )

Just for informational purposes - that is also a LDS coin ( Late Die State )
Early die state coins are highly sought after and tough to find. This is the more common variety.
I agree nice picture - Thanks for sharing

Yeah that's a XF coin
I found the seller, He has everything stated as rare and UNC
He has a return policy but ebay will return it for you.
Click the button to the right of your purchased page
RETURN and it will ask you why - you click "Not as described" and Ebay will automatically
accept. You will not have to pay for return shipping either as Ebay will have a label for you to print
for the return package. Try to find the original 2x2 to put it back into
Sorry this happened but you need to learn a little more about grading
take care Mike

If you take a flat edge and run it across the top of the 1 and the top of the 0 if you see a bit of the nine above that plane
you have a Large date.
Then to really confuse you there are coins with a small date OVER a large date - though this is not one :-)

Also, at some point you may need to remove these from the flips/holders they're in to get better pictures or move to a new flip/holder. It's safe to gently slide them out onto a hard, dust free, surface with nothing present to scratch or abrade the coin. Nothing like rough fabric. When handling always hold on the edges with your middle finger & thumb opposite each other.
Actually that's a really good point.
Looks to be the era of PVC flips - bad for coins as we all know

Attention (most) newbies:
THIS is a collection worth having, from what we're seeing so far. If there were an auction, my kiester would already be asking Siri for directions to get there. That PanPac half has me drooling.
Yeah right … The toning on that piece is mouth watering … :-)
1952 d dpm? better picture

A couple of points that I see -
with your microscope it looks like you are trying to angle the coin to get the highlights you are trying to see. I believe the doubling you wish was there is a
lighting anomaly.
Microscopes have specific uses and if used properly can show what you need, that being said, they have a LOT of drawbacks.
I still use my phone for most of my coin photography
on full manual mode.
The Franklin 49 D is a totaling different look than your as its what is called a shifted left ( D/D West) variety.
Yours if is a true shifted down (D/D South) you can see the differences from your coin hence why everyone is not convinced.
good luck
imho
