  1. Me too. For the record, the 1798 I posted belongs to another collector and is a bust dime.

Bob...I thought it was a Dime when you posted it - but its a 1798 -

and if anyone has a moment - they can borrow an image on Stack's

upcoming sale for a 1796 Half in PCGS AU 58....[ it should qualify as

a Bust type - even though the date is different ]

  2. Mike......Your 1901 Half has superb eye appeal. It definately warranted the coveted star* from NGC. It deserves to be added to the NGC star* thread!!!!!

I can't remember if I added it or not - but I think I did...

Its really a great coin - and am thrilled to own it - I wish

there were more bulls-eye toned coins out there - I rarely

    find them.

I just picked this 1915-P up tonight - for the AU set:

  3. I sure do like the toning on the reverses of the 92 & 92-O.

Thanks, Chris. They have great toning - but the 92-O Normal O - has

the better toning but a lousy strike...I bought it for the toning - and its

    a typical New Orleans strike.

Here are the new images of the 1894-P & 1894-S

as I never did have these images - [ the 1894-O has

great images and saw no reason to have it reimaged.]

Okay - I just edited the post above this one - to add some of the

newer images for the 1898 Mint set - other images are forthcoming

and I'll just edit that Post with the other 1898 images as I receive them.

I did not [ sorry to say ] send the photographer, BluCCphotos, all of

my Halves; I sent him coins that I had no images of what so ever - or

the images I did have were of a poor quality.

Here is the start of the Barber Halves, recently imaged.

    [ The 1892-Micro O in PCGS 63: image was acceptable and I

decided not to chance sending it thru the mail. I'll hand

deliver it to the photographer - either at Summer FUN or

    the ANA in Boston. ]

The 1892-P TDR - Not Designated on the holder. This was a cross over

from an ANACS 58 with the Designation of the TDR on its holder.

There are no new images of 1893 Halves, sorry.

    There are quite a few more images - 1892-P, 92-P TDR, 92-O, 92-S Halves.

1894's, 1895's. Will post tomorrow - its getting late now.

    EDIT: 2/25/10:

My photographer just sent me another two dozen images...

I'll slowly add them as time allows.
