About this journal

All bullion coins are minted at West Point, NY.  The S mint mark is a scam to make people think they are getting something special, at double, or triple the going price of a real Silver Eagle. In effect, the "S" coin is a phony, and doesn't have a place in the Registry. "Minted at" coins fall into the same category. The label can say anything they want.....even the Sheboygan Mint!

NGC removed the other coins, this one has to go also.

I too laid out hundreds of dollars only to have them erased, such  as the "2000 Millennium" ASE. Another gem that we "had" to have.  They won't pay   those coins we now have to eat.

I got a big box in the mail today! Hey everyone! All it had inside was a silver eagle. I guess it was worth the trip up to the mailbox. Some guys have all the luck. I hope everyone has a day like mine!

So much for presale coins!

3 strikes.....you're out! Hello all! Am I upset with affluent coin dealers? Yup, at least one has ired me to a boil. When you have enough money to buy 200 silver Commemoratives at a time(Abe Lincoln in this case), you should be able to fulfill a presale promise. Right? RE - EVALUATIONS!

Dimes and halves.......quarters? Hello all! With all sets getting re-evaluated, can the Sacagawea $1 be far behind? With a "FYOI" pedigree, will our soon to be (11 coin) sets be recognized for the completeness they represent? I know there'd be a lot of irate Sac set owners if they did acknowledge them all. I should have waited!

Robert Chambers is alive and well. Hello everyone! Yes, Robert Chambers is alive and well. "Coin Vault" still is too. Finally he has the 2009 Lincoln Commemorative dollars in PF and MS 70. Imaging for beginners.

I was asked a question......I'm a beginner too! Hello everyone! As most of you know, I have not been a member for a long time. I am new at coins. HINDENBURG CRASHES IN NEW YORK!

Oh the amenities! Hello everyone! It is with mixed emotions that I bring you this news. My Hindenburg has crashed. Yup..... Not one (1) member thought it was a good idea to get it graded. I NEED SOME ADVICE TOO!

Is this worth it? Hello everyone. I came across this older coin and wondering if it is worth grading? It appears to be mostly silver. It is German, a 1938 2 mark coin. It appears to be in great condition, and is edge incused also. The reverse displays a swastika, which, I assume, means it was during the Nazi era. Hindenburg was known throughout the world. ADVICE ON CROSSING OVER?

Oh please send mine in? Hello everyone! I read the previous journal, and almost fell off my chair. Anyone that sends in a set of PF70s and they cross to PF 70s, please send a set of my Sacs to PCGS. HO HUMMMM!

What a day for a daydream! Hello all! It's late, and it was an uneventful day. I got my old scanner/printer to scan to a disc. I finally put images for my Prezzies sets(2). My new scanner isn't here yet (UPS). I got a new PF 70, 2000 Sac, for my last 10 coin Sac set. This is the one with the"First Year Of Issue" pedigree that doesn't get a slot! NGC/PCGS ? IT'S ALL SIMPLE MATH !

Plus and minus.....that's math.....isn't it? Greetings to all you "coin" collecting people! Well, I'll add some more fuel to the fire. Today I listed a PCGS set of the 2009 Territorial Quarters with "flags". A plus. I already have an NGC set without them. NGC doesn't do flags. A minus. NGC VS. PCGS ROUND 2,3,4 ???

How long must this go on? Hello all .....again! Fact.....NGC Registry allows PCGS slabbed coins. Fact.....PCGS does not allow NGC slabbed coins. 2009 PREZZIES!

Census or senses report? Hello everyone! A short note about my yearly insanity. I was fortunate enough to enter my Presidential Dollar sets into the Registry in PF 70 UC for 2007 and 2008. As most know that this will put the owner in a #1 set ranking. I have done a bunch of searching through my few resources, and find 2009 may be tough on the PF 70 collectors. IT LASTED FOR A DAY

It was fun for awhile. Hi everyone! My goal of being ranked 500 lasted almost a full 24 hours. I suppose being somewhat responsible for a few new members(some freebies, some not)led to my demise. KNOCKING ON THE 500 DOOR ?

I almost made it today.......but Hello all! Well, I got a shock today.....again. I just acquired the NH "W" silver quarter I need for my "weird" set. I got the coin listed.
