Mike, what did that 1920 SLQ grade out at? FH?

I'm guessing MS65ish, and if it isn't FH, it's awfully dang close!

Great looking piece!

Sorry I didn't mean to ignor your question.

It's a MS 65 ( no mention of a Head anywhere on the slab ... :o )

I really wanted to stay within my preset parameters of 63 - 64+ but,

I just couldn't resist this lovely lady's charms !!

3 Aug: And snagged the second coin on my wish list.. a 1878 $1 Gold Dollar NGC MS63 off of Heritage today.

Nice additions to my addiction, my 1878 Mint Set. :insane:

Here are my latest additions (not in my hands yet). Got them off of Heritage over the last two days.. well the wife did the leg work because the auction was while I was at work.

Ankur, you always purchase the most beautiful but elusive coins, I especially appreciate your rare gold coins you post here!

I am excited to report that I have finally after 3 1/2 years completed my Indian Eagle Philadelphia type coin set. All but the 33 which will be impossible to collect in my budget.

Enclosed are pics courtesy of Heritage Auctions. I cannot wait to get the coins in hand!

Congrats Irvin on the SAEs!

Fun CBH's Mkman!

Nice auction wins Kenneth. Does the year 1878 have any significance for you?

Good looking upgrade Ankur.

Congrads Pianoman! I tried a similar set some years ago but I was doing mint marks as well. You have some advantages in just doing P mints but you seem to be collecting MS coins whereas I had many AU pieces. Plus, the cost of gold was a bit less for me...it's great you completed the set...I didn't unfortunately. :)
