QUESTION:

 

The WWII Hawaiian notes were distinguished from other notes issued at that time by the use of an overprint on both the front and back of the note. What was used to distinguish the North Africa emergency notes from other notes issued at the same time?

ANSWER:

 

The Blue seal normally used on silver certificates was replaced with a Gold seal on North African notes
