Netherlands East Indies 1/4 Gulden 1941P 

I'm pretty sure that was correct. I don't go out of my way for foreign coins but this was a neat find in a penny roll.

Considering I don't have one and it was in good shape for the most part and has good luster still. Not sure about the value but I'm assuming only a few bucks mainly due to silver content sadly. Any opinions or knowledge welcome.

 Very nice coin to find in a Penny roll , don’t get better than that , it’s in good condition for its age as well !

In that condition your 1941 P 1/4 Gulden is worth about $5.00 maybe $7.00 to the right buyer. The melt value is around $2.05. This was one of the highest mintage Guldens of the 37- 45s with a 32M+ total mintage and is VERY common in higher grades. Nice coin to find in a cent roll. I'm Dutch so I should know lol. Cheers!

It is an unusual coin to find in a roll. I does happen from time-to-time because not too many coins get looked at when rolled automatically. I roll hunt a little and these are some examples of coins I have found in different coin rolls.

It definitely caught me off guard when I opened the roll! Even more so when it was this silver foreign and not a dime or some other small foreign coin. Neat find
