I purchased a 1914D $2.5 Indian Head. Should I get it graded? 1 1

I have never gotten a coin graded before. Would this one be worth it?

I would say the value of the coin would warrant the grading and it would also remove any doubt of authenticity. It looks like it may have been in a bezel at one time and that may hurt the grade

It's very difficult to grade gold coins from photos, particularly in a flip, and it just takes one barely visible rub mark to knock a coin with no signs of wear down to AU.  And having been in a bezel could be an issue.

I agree it would be worth getting graded, particularly to authenticate the coin since it's in top counterfeit lists with some very deceptive fakes.  Hopefully you bought the raw coin from a large reputable dealer who will stand behind the purchase it it comes back body bagged.

   I assume that by "gotten a coin graded" you mean submitted a coin to a third-party grading service. My usual advice is that unless you have developed sufficient grading skills to determine a reasonable approximate grade for the coin yourself and the coin is worth at least several hundred dollars in that approximate grade, you should not be considering such submissions. However, in the case of an Indian quarter eagle, which is probably the most counterfeited series of all U.S. coins, it may be worthwhile to submit it mainly for purposes of authentication.

   Based on your photos, your coin appears likely to be genuine and to have uncirculated details or nearly so but has an unnatural shine that suggests that it has been "cleaned" or polished. If so, the coin would likely still be worth over $400. If you want to submit it to NGC and do not have other coins worthy of submission, it might be more economical to submit it through an NGC member dealer to avoid having to pay the $10 per order processing fee and $28 return shipping fee on this one coin.

I would submit it just to prove its authenticity. It is the third most commonly counterfeited US coin.

I am with the other opinions that this coin while it appears to be genuine and despite its appearance that it has been previously cleaned, should be submitted for the purposes of determining its authenticity. It's high ranking on the list of counterfeits should be enough that submission would give you the peace of mind at least in that respect.

Did you purchase this from a dealer who stands behind their coins or in a private sale?
