And, I am sorry if I made you feel that way. The clash is neat, and I think anyone would love to find one in change. I think my reaction had more to do with the "hyping" nature of the article than the coin itself. Anytime is read, "In my opinion, the coin has more going for it than even many of the stronger clashes. First and foremost, the coin has pizzaz, or what I call “sizzle in the steak..." As with @The Neophyte Numismatist, I did get a "weird" tone from the description of it in the article and that Mike Mezack comment was priceless! I was simply stating that it is typical when these discoveries are made that coins like this will pop up on sites like eBay and Etsy with sellers trying to sell them for phenomenal prices. Again, I am glad for you providing us with the information as it gives us (and new collectors) something to look for like when the privvy W quarters were released into the wild. It's fun to see something new being found These are so bold because that area of the is rather high on the obv die, and the letters of EDITH on the reverse die are raised not incuse as the lettering usually is.
