Frank Krause aka Broadstruck has passed away 0

This was posted ATS by coinsarefun!  Thought I would share here for those that are familiar with him. A sad loss!!

We spoke briefly on the night of the 22nd. I am told by a very close friend of his that it was very sudden.
.
I know he meant so much to so many people on this forum and his personal life. The hobby has lost another great person. Frank was a walking dictionary on all things coins..........everything from eye appealing coins, errors and tokens, medals.

I am beside myself as I was close to him and still don't know how to process this. 
I never thought that I would be writing about Frank as I always thought it might be him to report about me.

RIP my dear freind and you will never be forgotten!

I saw that on the forum ats too, sad news indeed.   I purchased a couple of coins from Frank via the BST over there, he was a positive asset to the hobby and will be missed.

Frank was a bright light in the forum. This is a tough loss, especially tough since he was only 53. It won’t be the same without seeing new threads being started by him. Special condolences to Bobby, Stefanie and all of Frank’s other close friends made from these boards.

Very sad to hear of the loss of someone so young. My condolences to his family and friends.

I saw this ATS and he looks very young with a younger son.  Very sad.  RIP.

Just saw this ATS.  Really sad.  He’s been a fixture here and over there, since before I was ever on here.  I can remember him from day one.  Wow 53…. That is far too soon, especially since he leaves a young son. Prayers to his family. RIP Broadie.
