    I'd say that this is a decent circulated common date Capped Bust half dollar with Choice Very Fine (30) or so detail and struck from worn dies, as many were. The light color and peripheral toning suggest that the coin may have been dipped or "cleaned" and then toned in an album. Whether you got a good deal on it would depend on what you paid for it.

I think it is a very attractive coin, and I would agree with @Sandon that it appears to have some secondary tone to it.   It should look lovely in your album.

Very Nice. I love these old half's maybe someday I may pick some up when I hit the lottery .Heck G4 hover around $100 There are quite a few varieties in this series also.

I like it. I think it has been cleaned once or twice but almost all of them have been in my opinion. It would be a nice addition to any collection
