2019 D dime mint/dye error? 1 1

I found this dime and I'm wondering if this is a mint or dye error I haven't seen anything else like it on any other pages or pictures

First welcome to the forum, second the mint does not dye coins, the color on that coin came from contact with things after it left the mint.   It is not an error and it is only worth the face value of ten cents.

That could not happen during the striking of the coin so it is damage, not an error.

Please crop your photos in the future, there is more background showing than coin. This would also increase the size of the coin.

The only reason I wondered is because the back side of the coin has a weird pattern of dots on the back what could cause that?

They are all the same size and shape and are in almost a perfect pattern

Whatever it was in contact with caused the dot pattern.  It was apparently laying on something with the pattern.

We will never know for sure what caused the pattern, the coin might have been sitting at the bottom of a drawer that has that perforated drawer liner in it.   What we do know is that it was not done at the mint and thus it is simple exposure to some environmental condition after it left the mint.

Well at least this one is probably not Andromeda Strain, unless the color on the obverse is that.

A stain from something. Coins get rough treatment.

I would almost venture to guess this coin was a metal detector find that has been cleaned. When they are in the ground they get a lot of this coloring.
