Popular Post J P M
While I was out shopping around for my War Nickels I happened on a coin book with some Canadian Nickels in it. I thought I would grab these three they are not rare but they all have different reverse's on them and one is a war nickel. At the antique store I was shopping at the deal was $3 each or 4 for $10 so for a extra buck I also picked up a Centennial cent. Oh and yes the first thing I did after I took the photo was to smash down those awful staples. Mr.Bill347
Cool JP, I’ve never seen that Canadian V nickel. Nice addition to the War Chest! That centennial cent is cool too. There can be that many antique shops can there?

Ya find a lot of junk mostly but once in a while you will find a thing or two. Most shops are consignment so it is little booths with many items so you have to hunt in oddball locations for coins and tokens can be found in these locations a lot. GBrad
@J P Mashoke If I didn't know better, I'd think I lived next to the Canadian border. I find so many canadian coins in bank rolls, both Nickels and Cents, it's crazy. I found one of those Canadian beaver Nickels in a roll of Jeffersons and then one of the Centennial Cents in a roll of Linc's just this week. Both coins were darn near MS condition. I've probably found literally hundreds of Canadian Cents over the years. Found two of the "hanging 3's" Cents (I believe they were 1963's, and I think that's the correct term for that Canadian variety) in the same Lincoln roll earlier this year. Both were immaculate. Pretty cool finds just floating around out there. J P M and Mr.Bill347

That's funny you should say that Greg I live close to Canada and I do get a lot of Canadian coins in rolls also but I am in Rock Hill SC. this week for a wedding and this is where I found the antique store in Waxhaw NC.
