That's a nice looking coin. I recommend a Chocolate Fudge Sheba from the Commanders Palace in New Orleans.

That looks like a pretty sweet cake! I would agree with the AU assessment, though Barbers aren't my strength.

I'd put this about EF-45. I might have the details for an AU, but there doesn't appear to be any luster in these pics. For an AU grade, you really need to see at least traces of luster. I am also net grading it down a bit for what I am interpreting as potential surface damage. The pictures don't show it well, but I'm concerned about potential environmental damage on the reverse bottom half.

there is something on the reverse. some kind of green ??

you can see it a bit below the LL and in the R

I am going to go XF as well and possibly cleaned a long time ago

the reason I say possibly cleaned is I see 2 lines in the following pick

1- below the chin from about 2 o'clock to 7 o'clock

2- behind the head towards the 5th - 6th star

these could be die polish lines or small scratches - hard to tell from pics

going XF from rounded edge of rims and lack of luster seen on your pic

The green on reverse is most likely PVC which would be from in a soft flip rather than glass jar

I am not convinced you know what luster is - the following 2 videos show the person handling coin in a rotational circle so you can see the light reflect

- the XF half the shows just a touch on outer edge around stars and to rim

- the Franklin halves show uncirculated luster

No, not eagle eye.... but I've been doing this a long time. I would highly recommend an acetone bath. That is standard operating procedure for me when dealing with raw coins - especially ones found in a jar that have been sitting around for a hundred years. Who knows what might be on that surface? If you follow the guidelines in my recent articles, you should see improvement with the coin.
