  1. What is in a 1965 proof set? I can not find it in the price guides.
  2. I just checked website and looks like 4 weeks to open mail and then 51 day average for US economy ... is that current?
  3. I have only directly submitted once so far. I thought I read somewhere that the cut-off was 1956 and after. Now looking I see 1965 and after. Was I mistaken (touch of dyslexia) or did it recently change?
  4. Nice article. There does seem to be a wrong word at the end of the first paragraph ->The extreme doubling seen on the reverse is unparalleled on any other US coin.
  5. It is clearly a mechanical error (something a 6th grader with a redbook could figure out) and the original submitter should have caught it and returned for correction.
  6. That S to the right of the hair stands for San Francisco.
  7. I am thinking of buying a NGC graded coin. To get a variety attribution, do I just pay for variety and re-holder? It is in a MS67 holder now, but looks more like a MS65, will the grade stay the same as long as submitted in slab ?
  8. OMG, I was looking and I have one as well but it is the ENTIRE set .... how much is it worth Ratzie33?
  9. If the mint had an exhibit at the expo, isn't it possible that a purchase was initiated and delivered later? I was hoping to see a proof columbian expo
  10. I just got a call they cancelled the 2 day grading seminar I signed up for. Now I am not sure if I will go, maybe summer FUN.
  11. Registered Mail is most secure. I would not worry about name on address.
  12. The spots are in the same positions so it is the same coin. It is amazing/deceptive how lighting/overexposure can change our looks of a coin.
  13. FSH - $170 delivered (USA) PAYPAL verified addresses 3 1909 VDB cents - a MS65RB, MS64RB and MS63RB group I was starting a grading set and got tired - post here and pm
