  1. Ok thank you for that info i wasn't aware they were one in the same. Well but in that case i withdraw my previous state. I now say JP I concur, struck through grease. And very nice if i may add.
  2. Ok i almost bought this till i seen it has no cert. number. Is that a counterfeit holder or is this normal in some cases?
  3. Since i had such great luck with the other one.(again thanks conder) i figured i try see if could identify this one cause Google lens could not. D= about 50.8 give or take a .10 Weight =440gn or 28.5g
  4. Thank you and untill today i wasnt aware of the third feather. I always thought it to be part of his (indian) braid on the other side of his head. Guess now i know its a feather and that if its missing then i have a variety that some one may be looking for. Glad to have seen this post and thank you for explaining it to me.
  5. Nvm @coinbuf i done some research. The three feathers in normal and the two feather is really only two feathers the obvious small and large ones. Now i understand
  6. Coinbuf where is the third feather you see? Ive never heard of this 2 feather variety and ive got a '36 that's AU/MS id guess. Anyhow it looks exactly like this one as does another im looking at from 29.
  7. I've got an 1882-O and a 1884-p. Had a 1878-cc i recently sold and later found out its a counterfeit. Bought from coin dealer in houston to resell got it cheap now i know why. But was in a sealed holder i never removed it didn't think i needed to. Well thats first thing the guy i sold it to did and it was 2g lite. So im way outta pocket on that one.So yeah im not a morgan fan. The two from the 80s i bought just to have the silver to put up but really nice coins. All the same
  8. Yes sir..i was very surprised But And i mean but watch it they will nail you to the wall on shipping. Reason being is that not everything is in one location so when bidding i try to make sure everything comes from the same place or at least two different places. Say you win ten lots at ten locations then they hit you for 15 bucks shipping for each lot. I know this because i learned the hard way.
  9. Ok im not a big morgan fan really. Dont get me wrong i have a few and there nice coins im just not into em like i'am cents. Therefore i didnt know this was a key rare coin in high grades. Thank you for the info though now when im bidding at auctions i know something else to be on the look out for is 1893s worthy of highest grades. Not likely to come across one but stranger s#;+ has happened.
  10. I would put em up for auction on Ebay there folks ive noticed paying stupid money for BU rolls rite now.. And id keep a roll for my self..JS
  11. So it go for 1 mil just cause it has Jack Lee on the holder? Cause thats one ugly coin.
  12. Thats a heck of an you got there... I never seen it till you pointed that out...o well live and learn. I knew i was taken a chance getting it but wont make that mistake again
  13. Ill post em just gotta find my calibers and scale. Not sure where either one is. Thats why ive not posted them yet
  14. Well thank you James i would like to see better photos. Its very interesting coin.
  15. The one i have are universal and hold any coin up to 30mm. But can be order to hold up 48mm i believe. They incorporate a foam gasket to make it possible. The reason i like em is cause there universal and only need one size fit all. Rather than ordering several different sizes of 2x2. But i dont know alot about ancients i have a few i need to identify but dont know where to find the info to do so and im not gonna clean em to be able to see the detail. Probably just sell em on ebay as is and see if they bring anything.
  16. This is the second time its happened. First time it happened was with a morgan dollar and i didn't know it till i sold it last week on ebay. It came in a sealed holder from a dealer in Houston so i thought it was legit. Well guy sold it to took it outta the holder and weighted it. It was 2g lite so im having to refund him plus be out what i payed fo it since he removed it from holder the dealer wont make it good. So i got screwed twice with that dang morgan..
  17. I myself am working on getting away from 2x2 all together. Im in the middle of swapping over to these capsules. I fond of em. But thats just me https://www.amazon.com/Coin-Storage-Boxes-30mm-Coin-Capsule-Coin-Collectors-Coin-Capsule-Holder-Commemorative/dp/B08C5884F6/ref=gp_aw_ybh_a_36?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=89EZJQCTYW9CM923SMDB
  18. I'm just a newbie but to me it looks like maybe been double struck and it's got Roosevelt head and on top of Roosevelt's head. But im newbie and dont know much but that's what it looks like to me.
  19. I was on there earlier and found a coin book full of large cents
  20. I will post pics of it out of the 2x2 so that they are more clear and you can get a better look. I have really bad eyes so its hard for me the see the die markers to tell anything for sure. That is if you dont mind taken a look at it for me if i get you the better photos
  21. Conder thanks for sharing the video that's that's pretty neat it's interesting I've never heard of that.
  22. I've all but come to the conclusion that it's a counterfeit or a reproduction but here's the photos and I'll get y'all's opinions on it thanks. I was really think id found something too but since this coins is not the real deal i wasted 40 bucks on a bunch of junk.O well live and learn
