  1. Mr Spud it just shows a really nice 1875 CC PCGS graded bean coin for $19.99 huh?
  2. I found this: Moroccan about 1775 demonitized https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces49725.html
  3. Just came across this fake ad. https://pinncio.com/products/1875-cc-seated-liberty-half-dollar?fbclid=IwAR0cnu9iCxkLNMTzBzveQ5_090HcNB8GI32oVOA3lMx7m_fNdAom7m8Np40_aem_ATC6qLVe7j_31HvxT25pADJQFkJdArla_dHshxMSja6S1dPi-LIln6fZCKVtVde34sm2w7Ocyz1Bdp0Hxw-mBHPVe07nuGIi8OCLp1INP2HSmwArXYx3R1MXW1CXOl4wXqQ
  4. Looks like a GSA hoard Morgan . Government service organization. I’ll give you $300 for it
  5. Very nice . GSA hoard coins seem to be at a premium . I would place your coin in the ms62/ms63 range.
  6. Again you score ! This is the one I have full except the 09S VDB. If you find an extra one, let me know!
  7. Doesn’t look right to me either, specifically details of the tail feathers compared to the detail of the shield and messy beads on the obverse crown and bad complexion on her left cheek. Imho
  8. I’d kinda like to know that too. These are all Lesney England
  9. Nice example there. Unfortunately it doesn’t carry a high value. Nice that it is in a slip. I would put that in a self slab, label it and make it a keeper.
  10. It looks cast to me. There is no way I would consider buying this coin, based on this picture, I don’t care what the sellers recommendation is. If you can’t hold it in your hand. Here is an actual counterfeit fro HA. Proving many counterfeits for this coin exist. An MS63 example was sold for nearly 200k. This coin looks grainy and the details are too good, imo.
  11. I share in the disappointment in the current packaging. Twinkies are better protected than the proof ASEs. T”my Morgan CC arrived Out of its capsule. Fortunately it still pulled an MS70, my good luck. These cheesy holders are cheap! Now according the our very reliable sources, we are not even going to get the twinkies plastic.I’m pretty sure I’ll be disenrolling!
  12. Everything but the fingerprints. Vice job.
  13. The problem with most Avery labels is That they are permanent adhesive. That’s why I just use paper and a small patch of scotch clear tape.
  14. Supermoon 7/13/22 11:45PM ISO 800, F11, 1/125 sec Nikon D5600
  15. Since this coin is 95% copper and 5% tin/zinc, if it were plated it should weigh more, not less, I think.but if the surface was removed , say by acid, it would weigh less. nevertheless, it is post mint damage, and even if it were a DDO or a BIE variety, it would have been deemed relatively worth 1c
  16. I know I overkill with Storage, nice slabs, non pvc wraps, plastic coin boxes generic or NGC or PCGS and in every box is a couple of silica packs. I know they are anyways dry, but I would rather be more cautious than careless.
  17. Eagle, I would avoid the cheaper Whitman books, they are not well made and you can’t see the reverse in them. I would suggest albums on Littleton, Modern coin mart, or Wizard coin supply. They aren’t cheap, but much more archival with non pvc plastic windows (slips) on both sides of the coins. They also have compatible bookshelf sleeves, which make a great display.
  18. I am supposed to bag them all, but haven’t gotten that done yet. The are approved self sealing non pvc protective bags. They actually help with the slick slabs when you are lifting them in multiples.
  19. JT2, I just completed my D Ben Franklin Set all MS64 FBL. Got the 1962 today, had the 63 in MS64 FBL and PF66, also the 51,57,59 Raw. Average paid for all of them $49.64 each
  20. Quarters a a good set, but there’s a lot of them. And the pre ear coins are pricey. National park quarters in proof are easily found, State quarters are also pretty easy to get. I decided to focus on Ben Franklins. Specifically a full set of 1949-1963 MS64 FBL. Prices for BF are all over right now . Walking Liberties are great to collect. nickels are fun too look for full steps. hope this gives you a few ideas and welcome to the forum
  21. Hey I got one of those! They only made 20,290,000 of them
