  1. This is not full steps. Full steps indicates at least 5 or 6 steps completely free of blemish and dings. LemE and JP are the FS experts here.
  2. Got this when I attended a veterans information sharing session put on by Senator Mike Braun. also got these trinkets.
  3. I would leave well enough alone with ANACS. They seem to carry plenty of value on EBay. This difference that you may or may not gain does not justify the expense of grading, shipping etc.
  4. Eagle from Coin adviser on EBay. price was $47 free shipping when I got mine.
  5. I am also planning on cutting back on mint subscriptions. When I can get a graded MS70 Eagle for $40, why keep on buying the proof for $80? Further, I have a subscription on Morgan and Peace dollars but why? The anniversary coin hype is over, and why perpetuate that hype? Finally, as a collector of proof sets, I totally agree with @Sandon that the silver proof sets are way out of proportion so I will only be getting the clad version. Gosh, I’m starting to think 🤔 maybe it’s not the direction I want to go. I, like @Eagle May drop the ASE as well. I will say this, the last two ASE’s I got were much better quality, and other than the fancy embossed box, hate the cheap packaging.
  6. Well from experience and a lesson from the pros on this forum, my proof set storage problem was solved by purchasing Intercept proof set boxes from Wizard. I see no reason these wouldn’t be an excellent place to store OGP boxes. And they look great!
  7. Eagle, is t that a Capitol plastics board? Air-title capsules are a separate thing aren’t they? You should fill it!
  8. Well sir, I’m just not smelling what you’re stepping in. I’m not seeing DDO at all on your coin. I’ll wait for other opinions on your coin for sure.
  9. No clamshell but a tighter fitting felt covered plastic insert. A little more decorative on the box with the embossed Liberty.
  10. Received the S Mint version of the 2023 Bessie Coleman quarter for the book today.
  11. RWB is spot on! I see these juiced coins on EB all the time. Of course they look flashy and the seller often adds as many adjectives as possible with the space of a flip ie: MS+++, rare, key date, proof like etc. if you want a good CC, buy a graded one! Don’t chance these shysters!
  12. Welcome! The Kennedy’s are more valuable in 1964 when they were silver. The copper nickel clad coins after that are less value due to no silver content. The valuable or I should say more valuable coins would be proof or uncirculated.
  13. Oh sorry only good enough for a gumball machine. Wayyy ouch damage.
  14. Wow neat old holder, and very nice 1952!
  15. Todays newest addition, a 2023 Britannia. Beautiful coin, except for King Chucky
  16. Thanks Sandon. I wasn’t going to send it in, but wanted some idea of grade and variety. I did see the hairlines and of course the seller posted a fuzzy picture. But no problem I was just wanting one of each Morgan mint for the set. It only cost me $40 so no big deal. Thanks for looking. You too Bsshog!
  17. I got it as a raw coin, and comparing it to Photograde, it appears to be MS 61-63? Also quite a few die breaks indicating maybe a VAM variety, But after searching through 1921 D on Vam World, I can see some markers but doesn't seem to match known varieties. Any help with the grade or the VAM determination?
  18. Hi Modwriter those are nice but pricey! But as a short series a good idea. I saw these guardhouse boxes for larger roll collectors. https://www.coinsupplyexpress.com/
  19. All interesting! Have you read Roger Burdette’s book, “From Mine to Mint” an excellent read which explains the usage of such machines.
  20. Welcome to the forum. Just post what you got. We always like coin photos and the dies are great.
