  1. Hi

    I inherited a windfall of Farthings - and I mean a windfall....

I am looking to find the right valuation resource for pricing.  There are some really really nice ones...  Also if anyone is aware of a way to sell best don't br shy:)

Where would you grade this example.

Thanks all.  I am needing a good base idea so I will be posting a few more.   Thank you as always.  I definitely appreciate the insight I get here.

I don’t believe there are recognized two feathers this late in the series. Here is the list of known two feathers, of which 19 are considered true two feather and the others partial (although all of these in the list below are attributed by TPGs)

    • 1913-D Type I 2 Feathers FS-401
    • 1913-S Type I 2 Feathers FS-401

    Hi

I've got quite a few of the 2017 One Cent Dove and 5 Cent Rabbit coins.

    They are beautiful coins.

I'm having a herd time trying to set prices and know where to try and sell these.

Can anyone help me understand the best option for me?  Maybe help me understand pricing?

There are all ranges of prices online and I'm weak at grading.  If anyone is interested in any of these please  let me know.

I have a LOT of other Canada and GB coins I am looking to sell as well - old and new.  Actually I have many thousands of coins I am selling....1827312408_20210705_1331241.thumb.jpg.ad55a901cebf5cbb89b8d96fc7ce6a19.jpg

    Thank you

I’m not an expert on these as there are probably about 200 different varieties and die pairings with many being minor or sub varieties but looking at your coin, it is not a 9 over 8 nor do I see any repunched letters or numbers which make up most of the more valuable varieties so for now I would have to say it is just a regular 1859 Vickie although it could be a minor variety. Perhaps someone else with more knowledge could give there opinion.

Here is a source for information on vickies by the foremost expert

And here I was hoping for brasslol

Personally I don’t see an RPM, but the pictures are fuzzy. As you are newer in collecting I wanted to provide you a nice resource to confirm suspected varieties. Your coin should match all the indicators matching the variety listing on this site exactly. Just because it has something different doesn’t mean it’s a variety. I’m linking to the specific page for the coin in question, but many coin types are listed.

Also to note not all varieties that are listed are also acknowledged by the grading services. If you do have one that matches you then need to see if it’s major enough to be included. Many minor varieties aren’t. Here is the resource to our hosts variety attribution list that they will attribute.
