The answer is that I must read better.   It was not the Dollars.  t was almost all quarters.  Thanks for the feedback.  I posted a Type C thread question in the newbie forum.

My 10lbs of Binion Silver was mainly quarters.

However I found this amongst the dull..

Is this possibly a 1965 reverse Type C?

I obtained a 10 lb original lead sealed bag of coins from the Binion Horde.

I wondered if anyone had a good procedural recommendation other than my initial thought of immediately opening the bag and releasing the mystery.

While that sounds fun I know it might be rather foolish to do that.   I know because I did it with Collector F1 cars, guns and crazy stuff back in the CEO days when I had it rolling hard.

Now I am more prudent ( cars all gone and no more shooting 1 of 100 guns for fum:()  It IS fun  but t IS stupid too.

Any sage advice - I thank you kindly in advance for the insight.  I HAVE to open them, that's just me.  But how do I do that right?

Would I just have them authenticated and graded? 

I've gotten great help here as I learn and I'm sincerely hoping for more.

I have this Half Dollar and the error seems to be a mint error.  Can anyone help me understand what caused the error?

Is there any value in this error condition?

I have a really strange nickel.  It seems to have a really weird surface texture and it make the lettering seem abnormal.  Is this anything significant?

I know there are a lot of highly collectable coins.

I was interested in the grade because i have a multiplier.  I have around 200 coins that are a 10+% +/- that sondition in wheat and 400ish not wheat for the same years. 

I was wondering if that mattered. 

I also have 60lbs of foreign coins including Annam from the 1780's.

This is the best roll

Thank you. They went straight to the coin holders as soon as I understood what they were. This is just one of the rolls the others are still in the plastic tubes. The 1957 roll has not been opened at all.

20 is more like 200+ and there is a roll of 1957's from Mellon Bank and Trust Pittsburgh looking very good. There are a similar number of coins that don't have the luster of the first I posted. 

I just don't know what the normal is yet. I will get a couple grades to see. 

If anyone can help me with a little advice I thank you in advance. 

I assume the roll is like unopened Chrome Cards. You trade the unknown value away on opening  - so you have to make a nice find to recover?  Or ?

They were owned by a dealer and now I have them  

I've read a bunch and am looking at the extra fine coins. I think mine are very good and they are quite nice. I joined for grading them but I wanted reality check first. Can anyone help me with this and a little advice please.  Locally I'm stumped for help.
