I for one like the American Innovation coins. They may never be worth the cost ($34.50 for a roll of 25 from the mint). They are a better design that the president dollars. It may be a little bit of hopeful thinking that made me start getting them, but I do like the way they look. I have the Proofs and reverse proofs to go with the rolls. one day some family member will look and be on here asking if they are fake because they never saw one in circulation. @Mr.Bill347, I really like the Folder, but I don't think I want to open the mint rolls and take one coin out of each.

I am ordering three copies of this. One for me, one to pass on with my collection, and one for the next person tht thinks they know more then others here because u-tube said so. I was going to get @VanKurt a copy for his birthday too.

@Deana2874, Hi and welcome, your coin has been damaged and abused after it left the mint. One of the things I ask myself when I look at coin like this is; How can this happen at the mint? The coin you showed (with very nice pics I might add) has damage that would not happen with in the press.

well the data entry time of adding just pics to my coin spread sheet is about five mins each. I already have the pics and the spread sheet, just have to move and add. I know I am slow, but I am going to try a couple hours a day of it.

Thank you for the help, I think, you just gave me about 6 months' worth of work.  But it will make my spread sheet better.

I wish I knew how to do all that. I would love to hook my coin pics up with the spread sheet I made. I am not that computer Savey.

I would use an Excel spread sheet.

I guess I will have to go around to the cigar shops and try to find them. I keep them in a big boot box with a lot of desicant packs now. The one box holds from 1956 to 2008. Now I'm working one a new box. To bad there is no way to really display them all. same with the Mint sets. If you ever watched Mike on HSN, then you know how much space is needed. He is always trying to get people to buy the 1967 - 2008 sets for some outrages price.

Now that is the way coin collecting gets a good name. Maybe Slime-Slim and some others can learn something. I gave a bunch of Wheat Cents to a boy scout troop once and traded people for P or D MM. Giving someone the coin they need to Compleat as set, just because you have more than one, is very honorable thing to do. I really appreciate the good people I see in this forum. Weather it is shearing their vast knowledge, help people know what they have, wishing one another well, or giving someone a hard-to-find coin. Thank you all for making mankind a little Better.

I don't ever pay more than face for Loomis rolls. I do get some rolls from the Mint that chargers a premium. but that is not what the OP is talking about. I think some people just don't want to spend the time looking for good coins, they believe that there is a far better chance of finding that rare coin in those rolls. But I can get those Loomis rolls at my bank for face. If I miss a coin coming out of the mint, I find waiting 3 years will bring the price back down most of the time.

Wow @Mr.Bill347 that's great. That is how I started my collection, proof sets, mint sets, fill in the books...... it never ends. always something new to add. The mint keeps changing the OGP on the mint sets so they all can't fit together real nice and easy.

Thank you @JKK. I for one like learning and you and other here teach me so much. It seems to me I am spending more one books and research, then one the coins I get.

Nice pick up on the US proof sets @Mr.Bill347, I have all the proof sets and mint sets from 1967 to 2021 but the early sets I really like. The dang mint sets were a lot harder to find in nice shape and cost me a lot more too. The 2012 is one of the key dates sets too. I love seeing what you and others get, thanks for the pics. Keep shopping and showing, it makes my day.

I'm the guy that keep the curve of average Joe down. My collection is nothing in comparison to many of the others on here. I am not into collecting to have a better set the anyone else. I collect what I like and can afford. I learn a lot from all the books but learn a lot more from talking to people here and in real life. I personally think the best part of collecting is getting a coin you like and then being able to show it off to other people. Weather it is a new ASE or a coin from BC I love to see them and learn about them. I don't commit much on here because I am learning so much, but people like @Hoghead515 make me feel more comfortable being here. Learning from the more knowable people make me explore other types of coins. There are no coin club around where I live so I learn from people on here. The best advice I ever got on coins came from my dad; Get what you like and a coin is only worth what you are will to give for it.
