  1. Hard to give grade when you only show partial parts of the coin. But no, it would not be worth getting graded, it would cost more for grading fees than it is worth.
  2. I wonder what his offers were. Anything over one cent he should have taken. No sense listing it on eBay, it would get removed.
  3. Welcome to the Forum Your quarter is also PMD (Post Minting Damage) It is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin. Anything that happens after that is considered damage
  4. Duplicate Post. You only need to post once.
  5. Depends on what year you are comparing it to. The Mint has changed the composition four time since then so they would have different lustres depending on the year it was minted
  6. Welcome to the Forum. Just a well worn coin. May have been a partial Grease Filled Die but too worn to tell at this point.
  7. Maybe he couldn’t find that “new coin group to join” and decided to give us another chance.
  8. I agree with DWLange, a classic case of MD
  9. Welcome to the Chat Box Don’t see anything out of the ordinary. There is nothing that would happen during the striking of the coin. That doubling you see is just minor Machine Doubling and the dots are probably just minor plating bubbles.
  10. The full steps only pertain to Jefferson Nickels. What you have is an album worthy cent that would cost way more to grade than it is worth.
  11. Been removed by eBay Can't do much about the Lincoln's as that is the sellers opinion about the grade.
  12. It is against eBay policy to have a numeric grade on a raw coin. Been reported. Hopefully will be removed by end of day.
  13. Geno g Please use a different posting for each coin. It gets confusing if there is more than one coin on the s@me thread.
  14. This forum is for buying/ selling coins. Have asked it to be moved to proper forum. As far as your coin, it has been been severely damaged. There is no way that could happen during the striking of the coin.
  15. Unless you want to spend about $50.00 each on coins that are worth their copper value, I would say no.
  16. I agree with DDD. Another worthless type of Doubling.
  17. No way it happened during the striking of the coin so it has to be PMD.
  18. Round Die Chips are not uncommon. They start off as a pin hole in the die and through continuous striking, it slowly enlarges the hole into a round shape.
  19. Could be a small die chip Also welcome to Forum
  20. Nothing special about any of them. They are all WAM. You can’t have a RPM after 1989 as the mm is part of the master hub so they all have to be the same. The last coin does appear to have Split Plate Doubling on the mm.
  21. What are you seeing as errors? Please explain so we know what to look for. All I see is staining and minor damage.
  22. Hard to tell from such a darkly toned coin but having a "32" after the date is impossible and I can't really see any Doubling on the eagle. Perhaps you could show a closeup of the area that you think is doubled. In the future, if you were to crop your pictures, it would enlarge them.
  23. Don't waste money sending them in. As I explained earlier, post photos of both sides and someone here will be able to tell you what you have. As far as the 1944 steel cent, please weigh it, that would be a good start in determining it's authenticity. As for the 1969S , a good photo of both sides can determine if it is a DD or not.
