1983-P dime die crack and possibly die clash
Hinkle replied to Hinkle's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions

Hi, the obverse is a lot different then the reverse. The obverse has an outline around the whole Jefferson head. And also looks environmental damaged but the reverse looks normal or it's been cleaned. Hmmm interesting. Any thoughts is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi again, I have lamination on rear end of the bison and a little on the stomach. And also next to the date on obverse. I'm thinking I'm seeing MD on and around the face and feathers.

1983-P dime die crack and possibly die clash

Hi everyone, I'm trying to compare my dime to what die clash photos I found on line. Above plu in epluribus is kinda right on. And the little line at the tip of flower also. The photos shows it's part of the nose and the lip. Hmmm maybe you guy's can view it better than I can. Thanks. There's also a die crack going through CA in America to the dot.

I got this quarter out of pocket change. So I was checking it out and it looks like a DDR but it could be MD. It's on United and a little bit on America also. Cool but interesting.

2006-D Jefferson check this out , major MD
Hinkle posted a topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
This coin had me wondering, Until I got closer look at it. Just another MD. I have the knowledge in the back of my mind, that this happens on new modern coin's. Man what was I thinking. -
See, I told everyone I would find that cool unique one. Just kidding. So it probably being a MAD, or evidence problems in that year, this should be a error and worth saving right. Thanks

Hi everyone, is this considered a dryer coin. The rims looks ok and the reverse looks good. It almost looks like trust has two U's. But when I see coin's like this I automatically say dryer coin. Hmmm.

1978-S Eisenhower dollar extra claw

Hi everyone, I picked up a proof set at a pawnshop. It appears to be doubling on the claw. But not for sure if this is what it's supposed to look like. Any thoughts would be appreciated thanks.

Hi everyone, I've seen partial rims but not going all the way around the coin. It's on the obverse and reverse of the coin. I guess some people call it the railroad. But just curious if this is the variety. Thanks
-
Yeah it's still the same. I changed the batteries and all the other coins are right on. Man this is bad. Now I have to take this one back. Thank you

Hi everyone, just got this today. Just wondering if it's fake or been cleaned. The reason I think it's fake is because it doesn't weigh like it should. If it's not fake then there are some errors on this. Like spitting eagle, if it's clear enough to see and a couple of horns coming out from her forehead and front of her hair. I'm crossing my fingers that it's real. thanks

Thanks Bob, greenstang, and Conder101. Just like the spiked head there worth nothing. But people are really into them. I was told the die crack above Lincoln's head is common on coins. But yeah I found 75s, 76s like four of them within 30 minutes that look like the one in the pic. So I figured out they were common. But still hunting for something surprising.
-
Never mind everyone, I apologize .found another 75. Must be weak strike and over polishing die. So I'm taking it ,that it's common.
-
Is this a possible floating head. I looked at other one's on line but not for sure. What would be your opinions. Thanks.

1984-D penny Somebody's in trouble
Hinkle replied to Hinkle's topic in Newbie Coin Collecting Questions
Right! I thought it was that color after been used by a certain tool. I take it Somebody's was really bored, they perfectly got that MM off of there. Seeing stuff like this, I just hope I don't find something that is genuine and turns out to be fake. I wouldnt be a happy camper lol. -

Hi everyone, I know what a 84 doubled ear looks like. But are some year's different. Because I'm thinking im wrong on this and thought I would share and get your thoughts. I'm thinking it's to much bubbles on this coin to be exact. But really interesting.
