Lol, so how many of that 5000 are you? 😆

You'd need something more / better than a view count though because looking at something doesn't mean you liked what you saw or thought it award worthy. I look at sets I'm competing with sometimes just to see what they have - with their non-existent pictures and comments.

Actually none cause it is not true - I tried it numerous times and it does not move the counter.

    Nice sets by the way

    Thanks for your feedback, gentlemen.

We appreciate it and are always looking for ways to improve the NGC Registry. Unfortunately, yes, we would run into the problem of people viewing their own sets to increase their view count. If you have other ideas for an award, please let us know; our team could then discuss it at our next meeting.

I ACTUALLY DIDNT KNOW THE COUNTER WAS ACTIVE WHEN VIEWING MY OWN SET. Thanks for that information.

  3. I was thinking as I was looking at my 1883 Proof Set @ #2 that there should be a PEOPLE Choice

award. I think it should be awarded to a set that the people have viewed MOST OFTEN because of it unique characteristics.

Mine being all NGC coins and ALL 10 Coins being CAMEO and has over 5000 views.

I am sure there are some other sets that are equally well deserving but its a thought.

    take care

    Mike

  4. I have purchased a Roll of Morgans supposedly from the

Bullion and Exchange Bank of Carson City, Nevada

If I send the whole roll in can the label designate that it is from this Bank ?

I would have to depend on your honesty on what is in the roll for Dates and MM to insure the

labels integrity if I am correct ...

    Supposedly all Uncirculated coins.

If yes then how would this work as I cannot itemize the coins on a submission slip

    Thanks

    Mike

The only thing going for you to possibly send this in is if it were one of the five VAM's  that are either Top 100 or Hot 50 designations. While it is doubtful this one is ....  if you like to do research you could investigate. While the pics aren't very detailed and  I don't see anything that pops out to me you could still take a look on Vamworld.

Your slipping on the vam @Terrance64 (jk)

That coin looks to me Like a MS62 ( Darn hit on the breast )  with some brush marks on the frost distracting your eyes

It is also single possibly a double clashed 1884p

Cracks are pretty decipherable in the pictures also - if  I get some time I will try and vam it up unless @Terrance64   beats me to it :-)
