I don't remember posting this one which was just imaged - maybe I posted Heritage's images - but I really like this coin - and wish I had a complete set
that was toned just like it !

Finally, something that actually represents your handle instead of them HTT's that aren't so BROAD
Hardtimes - can you believe this guy ? He's been taunting me with that Half
since I've known him. Some day B/S I'll get it from your clutches !!
Here's another Barber Design - with a "Platinum" CAC - [ a Green CAC that had tape over it which removed the Green top coat !! ]

I would never have thought this would have graded as a VF 30 - looks 20ish to me !

Elbesaar, I love your Liberty Head Nickel errors. How do you suppose the last one came about (i.e. the odd composition resulted)?
I need to do some research - I would expect it was either a Cuban or Philippine
blank - but I plan of doing some digging soon.

Also picked up this unusual V Nickel ...NGC 64 ... 85% Cu + 15% Ni

Nice pickups Mike. I see Broadstruck is starting to influence your buying habits.
Thanks !
Broadstruck is one of my favorite coin guys - and I guess hanging around him
for the last few years has influenced me somewhat - but I have always liked errors.
I picked up two newps at FUN - but I don't have images yet -
I'll add the HA images when I have a few moments. Neat stuff really.
I bid on and was TROUNCED BADLY on the Barber Dime Full REV Brockage
in an AU 58 holder - I was high bidder until it was pumped up to 10K - I dropped
out at half of that. If it were the OBV Full Brockage, I might have swung for it.
That's what a Roth IRA is for.
In the mean time - here are a few more newps I had imaged by Messydesk:
I'll stop here - as the rest are mostly Morgans - and I promised Chris I'd let him know when I was about to post them.

Broadstruck,
I love your newer 1901 O/C Dime; I have a nice AU58 myself
of the same date - and I have seen many more 1901 off- centers.
It must have been one malfunctioning press that year to produce
so many errors. I would guess a misalignment of the dies caused
the problems. Many seemed to escape from the Mint in Philadelphia
that year.
I should get in touch with Larry about the off center Quarter. Very neat
coin and would be a great addition to my Barber Error Collection.
BTW, B/S, in my dotage, I still remember which Broadstruck Half I used
to own, yes I remember the 97-S too well. I 'll reserve comment on it
as I don't know who owns it - or - if you're trying to sell it. However,
when I said you've taunting me with the 1898 B/S, you know you have
{ and, I love it !! }
While at FUN, a young man came to Glenn's table with a very unusual V Nickel,
it was an 1899 in an NGC 45 Holder - split planchlet . I had hoped he had the
other half, but, no such luck. I still need to get it imaged.
My more recent Barber Half set is 99.% complete, I just sent in 8 ANACS coins
for cross over - and I have to still send in a Mechanical Error ( I bought an 1895 Phila
issue, in PC 45, but the label says it's an 1895-O ! ) so that needs to go back for correction.
Lastly I have a few other ANACS Barber Halves, I neglected to bring with me to FUN for
cross over. I have one coin in this set I refuse to sell, as it's one of the prettiest Barber Halves
I have ever owned, my 1893-S in PCGS 53. So, I need to pick up a duplicate for that date.
Well, Happy Hunting everyone !!
