OOOpppsss... I didn't notice the two attachments on the previous page for the 1892 Proof Quarter. My bad.
Ok - Here is an 1892 Dime to merge in the next three coins.
I thought the last post was of the 1896 Proof Quarter...
and don't worry SkyMan ... I walk around
with two sets of glasses because I hate bi-focals.
Lets see what Dimes I have from 1896....
How about a POS set [ doesn't sound too good does it ... ]
These came out of my raw Dansco album. Now in PCGS holders.

guess this belongs here
SWEET !!!
Very nice coin and I would venture its an AU 58.
Based on the sale of mine last August, you should
do extremely well when you decide to sell.

Picked this beauty up because they are tough to find in any mid range grade.
As it turns out, I have another in the same grade and one ten points nicer.

Edit: I finally found a nice 1917-S Cent in a 64 RB holder with out SPOTS !!
This coin seems to have more RD than BN as well. Paid a premium for it.
I think it's worth it... ( images to follow... )
Couple of additions to the 1917 Mint Set [ My Father's Birth Year ]
1917-D
1917-S
This is my first US Note -

Must have meant to post a Quarter ... last coin was a 1914 Quarter.
Here's an 1898 Quarter to keep the thread smooth
... and this one is also a Wild Card....

I will definetly let you know how this coin fares in the upcoming weeks.
I have had this coin in my possession before and it has screaming luster;
and you're right, luster doesn't always translate well in images.
At the moment - all I care for is what the graders at NGC have to say about it.

Another coin presented itself to me today and I couldn't resist:
Nice Half Eagle if I do say so myself.

Beautiful 1919-S SLQ Mike.
I agree, way better than MS63. Perfect candidate for a gold bean.
I am resubmitting it to NGC as soon as I receive it. I think it belongs in a 64 Holder, too.
It'll go to CAC once it's in it's new holder.

I have been hot for this coin for months - but I was unable to persuade
the owner to sell... Yesterday was my lucky day... this is on its way to me...

My new Fugio still on layaway
Question about Fugios... Are most of them die clashed ??
I have always admired the design and it's association with
our country's beginnings. The fore-runner of the chain cent.
Very nice example , BTW !!

Great looking coin, Bob - I can't believe it's a SP 69 and not a 70 !!

Guess I have not posted this yet ...
