  9. Hello, @Christopher Ray. All label corrections/updates to a coin's description go through Customer Service. If the UK Customer Service office is your local office, and you already reached out to them, then they should be reaching out to Customer Service in Sarasota. You may reach them at service@ngccoin.com or at 1-855-GRADE10 (855-472-3310). The NGC Registry is a mirror of the grading screens. We have grade examples of 1837 (William IV) MS 1/2P coins. If there are any changes to the descriptions of the 1837 1/2P coins in the grading screens, after that occurs, the NGC Registry team can make any necessary adjustments to Registry slot names. Thank you.

  13. @cgcsketcherz, hello. The programmers are working on several critical projects for other functionality for our many companies. We do not have a date for Custom NGC Registry sets to be moved over to the new site on NGCcoin.com. Thank you.
  14. @jimbo27, Hello. Thank you for your interest in NGC. US coins in TYPE sets have different scores than they do in DATE sets. Most coins receive two scores depending on the set: a "Date Score" and a "Type Score". The Date Score is for date sets such as Lincoln Cents 1909-1958 and reflects the value and rarity of the coin. The Type Score is used only in Type sets, where the goal is typically to acquire any example of a single type. Therefore, all coins of the same type will receive the same Type score, which often results in a lower score for rarer or more valuable dates. In a Type Set, for example, a coin with $10 and a coin worth $100 would not have the same percentage difference in the scores. That allows someone with a less expensive coin to at least stay competitive with someone who has a coin worth many times that amount. People who collect high grade coins for type sets can still be very competitive with those who collect the (potentially more valuable) key dates.
