Does not look like a DDO to me, plating blister or die damage is more likely.   Bob's advice to post on the CONECA forum is good advice, if they think you have something they may request you send in for an in hand review.

Paint, crud, who knows what is on that coin, but what is for sure it is not an error.

Welcome to the forum, as @Sandon correctly explained a doubled die coin is not an error but rather a variety.   It may seem like we are hammering you on this point but it would be important because if you actually had a doubled die coin and submitted it to NGC as an error you would be charged the fee and would not get what you expected when the coin returns.   Getting the terminology correct could save you money in the future.

As already noted your coin is suffering from one of the worthless and common types of mechanical doubling vs true hub doubling.   While these worthless types of doubling can be interesting to view, because they occur so frequently during the high-speed manufacturing of coins they have no numismatic value and TPG's like NGC do not attribute mechanical doubling.

Your coin is not one of the so called SMS coins, just a normal brilliant proof.

Welcome to the forum, looks like a dryer coin.   Coins get stuck against the drum of a clothes dryer and that can cause what you see here.   Other possible causes are intentional damage to the rev and the rim may have been spooned.   You can google spooned coins for an in-depth explanation and some comparison photos.   But my money is on a dryer coin.

1922 Peace dollars are very common, circulated coins with the kind of heavy distracting marks and damage as your coin has sell for $20 to $25 dollars.

You seem rather confused on registry points, and it is registry not register, (this is not a place to shop for wedding gifts).   Can you provide a link to where you found the point totals you claim here?   In the future it might be a good idea to know what points a coin is worth for the set you intend to use it for before you buy said coin.

Better, but still not in sharp focus, that is not a knock as coin photography is not easy.   But I still do not see any significant die doubling, it for sure is not DDO-1 or DDO-2 as both of those have large spreads that would be very easy to see.

Your title is "1969 S DDO Lincoln Memorial Cent 8" and you have photos of 70-S cents in the body, confusing to say the least.

Here is how you tell the difference between the large and small date 70-S Lincoln cent.   I did not try and rotate your photos so I could draw the line across the top, however, just eyeballing it both appear to be small dates.   You did not ask but neither has much value as both are circulated and have surface issues.

Welcome to the forum, sadly I can only echo what has already been said, this is not an error just a coin that was unintentionally or perhaps intentionally mutilated.

Sometimes the conservation may reveal an old cleaning that the crud, haze, or artificial tone was hiding.   Thus a coin that has been conserved is not immune to receiving a details grade after the conservation.

This is the link to the Heritage auction. The coin is ngc graded 1997 LMC. I understand that having a plating issue is just that, an issue not an error( in my opinion). But during WWll when the armed forces were taking all the copper, the mints took mega tons of spent brass casings, and made coins with them. I don't understand why now, a brass colored LMC is an error. 

Your link takes us to a page not found, perhaps HA decided to pull the item.   As far as the reason it was not an error in WWII is that was done intentionally vs the modern day brassy cents which are not intentional.   As the modern brassy cents are not intentional, they would have to be considered a variety or an error; it would seem that NGC decided placing them under the error umbrella is the proper choice in their opinion.

Your closeup photos are out of focus and aside from DDO-1 and DDO-2 the other minor business strike DDO's for this year are very minor.   Given the circulated condition of your coin it would not (imo) be worth the money to have this coin graded by a TPG.   If in hand you are very certain it matches up to one of the minor DDO's I would put it in a 2X2, label the 2X2 and hold on to it.
