  1. Hello KaileeS. The PCGS labels are automatically returned, no special request is needed. I have a drawer full of old PCGS labels :-/ I am thinking something like 'ex-PCGS nnnnnnnn' as the requested 'pedigree' line. Don't see how that might be confusing...? I currently have a Peru gold MS68 that is a standalone highest graded at PCGS (by multiple points) and would also be standalone highest graded at NGC if it crossed at the same grade. Can you pass the question to 'the graders' if they are who make this kind or decision, or to an NGC exec who might be responsible for same if it is a company policy issue? I'd like to get a definitive answer before I waste time/effort/money on requesting the 'pedigree' only to be later denied. Thanks again :-) Ralph
  2. Hello! For my Registry sets I frequently need to crossover PCGS slabs (non-US coins). You/NGC usually returns the original removed PCGS labels to me along with the new NGC slab. I used to send the labels to PCGS to notify them that the coin was no longer in their slab and thus should be removed from their database but it never happens, so I stopped wasting my time and postage doing that. Being that some of what I cross is somehow unique as to item or grade it is annoying to have a unique item that wrongly apparently exists as a second one in the other database. So, as a solution, can I use the PCGS slab number as a 'pedigree' on my NGC crossover slab label? I suppose regular 'pedigree' fees would apply but that would be fine. Please advise. Thanks. :-) Ralph
  3. Cert database for 6803724-006/61 is fixed. The weird US$ picture is gone and a reverse picture of the Peru Libra is in its place. Picture looks just a bit strange as it displays as a different size from the existing obverse picture but close enough :-) 6822109-001/61 not fixed but that's not my coin so that's someone else's problem. Thank you KaileeS! Much appreciated. Ralph
  4. Hello! I'm going to 'reply' here to hopefully bump this message back to the top. It's been a full month and nothing has been done to repair this problem. Can we get this database mess-up repaired please? As per my original report, "Can't help you with figuring out the US$ multiple slab mess up but I can send you a picture of the true reverse of slab 6803724-006, the Peru 1L, if you need it. Let me know." Thanks! Ralph https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/6803724-006/61/ https://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/6822109-001/61/
  5. Hello Just Bob. Not the right place for your question. This problem ticket / inquiry is still open and live, doesn't need any side track distractions . Next time maybe use Direct Message? Thanks. (fwiw, no, unincorporated area between McComb and Tylertown) Ralph
  6. Hello KaileeS! Thanks for that very fast reply back on Dec 20th, and a belated Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you. Unfortunately. as of January 5 this AM this cert database problem has not been fixed :-( Thanks. Ralph
  7. Hello! Slab 6803724-006 in the certification database has a Peru 1L 1918 MS61 as the obverse picture, and an US $1 1887-O MS61 obverse as the reverse picture. The Peru 1L picture is correct, the US$ picture is not. Additionally, if you search for the number shown on the incorrect US $1 MS61 slab picture in the 6803724-006 listing (shown slabbed as 6822109-001) you get instead what looks like the same US$ coin and with the same 6822109-001 number, but it is in a slab graded MS62 (even though the page text still calls it a MS61). Something severely messed up here. Can't help you with figuring out the US$ multiple slab mess up but I can send you a picture of the true reverse of slab 6803724-006, the Peru 1L, if you need it. Let me know :-) Ralph
  8. Hello Lisa! No, please read my message again, that was exactly my question. The 88 business days turnaround you mention is for submissions received TODAY. Turnaround time for this tier (economy/world) back in late July was ~40 working days as I recall, and I'm going on 65 working days now from the sign-in date (July 26th). This tier logically should have been completed before the modern/world tier, which had a longer turnaround time than economy/world back in late July, and that other invoice was already completed a while ago. Something other than expected turnaround time is holding up 2867021 and I'm asking what it is...? Thanks. Ralph
  9. Hello Lisa B! I have a three-invoice submission at NGC that seems to be hung up (beyond the published turnaround times at the time of delivery, which were much shorter than today's turnaround times). This package was delivered / signed in on July 26th, so 92 calendar days / 64 working days ago as of today, Oct 25th. Two of the invoices (gold tier and modern tier) are long done and are waiting for the third invoice (economy tier) to ship together. Can you please check on this for me? The invoices are 2867020 - 2867021 - 2867022 and the apparently delayed one is 2867021. Thank you! Ralph
  10. You said your dealer told you it was a brand new holder, not that he said it was just certified, so it's possible it's a reholder. Reholders, coins sent in to be taken out of the existing, usually damaged, holder and placed in a brand new holder, sometimes get the same/original cert number and sometimes get a brand new number. I've received both types back, but I've never determined why sometimes the number changes and sometimes it doesn't.
  11. Hello! Finding it impossible to improve my Peru 1/5 Libra top registry set as there are few if any improving coins to be found on the market SO... I'd like to add a 2nd set to my portfolio Please add a set for PERU 1/2 LIBRA 1902-1969 CIRCULATION ISSUE and, if possible, include a slot in the new set for the undated pattern issue (number below) as I have one of those. Thanks! Sample certification numbers: a regular issue: 4740732-019 a pattern: 2846772-001 a variety: 2846770-001 Ralph
