  1. Nice. I don't seem to get anything old anymore.
  2. I would keep it together as well. As said above, many of these have been broke up. Many of the Nickels in these sets and the set they made in 1994 have toned ugly from the mint packaging. I'm sure the number of nice sets is still going down.
  3. I'm sorry. I should have said, All members. Don't ignore @dprince1138 Report him to the mods. That's the only way to get rid of his off topic post and false information.

  8. Let's just keep things the way they are. There is no need to be making changes.
  9. Wood is not really a good idea for coin storage. Even with old wood, you still have to machine it. The fresh surfaces will start pulling moisture from the air in the room. That moisture may start a new wave of outgassing. The type of wood is also a big factor. I don't know of any type of wood finish that is safe around coins.
  10. No. The rules have not changed in the past 15 years. You can post any US coin with the same date or the same type. You can't follow a Bust Dime with a Seated Dime. Look back a few pages and study how it works.
  11. Lets not change anything. All is good. Next play would be any Bust Half Dime or something dated 1831.
  12. I'm thinking the holders I received the coins in were PVC but I just don't remember. It's been too many years.
