re: turn around

i to love the fact that ngc works hard to get the coins back to me in a timely matter.on my first send in, 2 gsa cc morgans, came back within 8 days of sending. i use overnight so that there is less tym for usps or others to have in transit. but the fact that they came back so fast is heart warming to me. they do a gr8 job and do it fast. i am sending in my next 8 coins in on the first of the month. thanks ngc!!!!!!!!!

on the hunt

need 3 more 2 faced coins im now looking for the final 3 2 faced coins for my collection. they are the philippine issues: 1936 m silver fifty centavos 1936 m silver one peso(busts of murphy and quezon) 1936 m silver one peso(busts of roosevelt and quezon) if any1 might have these for trade or sale i am interested:)

a morgan i hpoe isnt cleaned

found this morgan on ebay. it was 16m till end and was at 16$ i bid 20 and got it.it is very brilliant and has very good markings. but as more and more morgans hit the bone yard i am worried. so i thaught i would put the scan up for all to judge for themselves. what do you folks think did i get a good deal or is it 1 for the bone yard? 1889 p mor

question about cleaning

i have a few coins that look ms60 + but they have some darkness to them. i know if it were clean it would show some very nice luster and hair and such...but im not going to atemp to clean my self without knowing how to"properly" clean coins. is there a way to clean right? or do i spend the (?) money to get them cleaned by ngc b4 grading? any feedback would be appreciated:)

re: ngc the right firm

i to have noticed the value diff in the grading.... i my self am going to do a lil investment research. im going to send 10 of my 20 1981 p sba dollars to ngc and 10 to pcgs. this way when i sell them i will have all required notes on what the diff is in sales.being that i sell lots on ebay i do daily research trying to find what compitition is selling for and what it is they r selling. i like ngc's turn arround time.but grey sheet lists pcgs as top grading company.and ngc in second..... i

how can i tell the diff

between the millennium silver eagle and none millenium? is it just the date that makes it "millennium set"?im going to need 1 and might just have it need help.

got a gr8 deal!!!

searching on ebay i noticed a "roll"sale... inside i was informed that they were selling 20x 1981 p sba dollars all had been taken from mint sets or proof sets cant remember but just got them in and for 48$ i think i got a good deal. all were in celo and are ms65+ what is the best price guide(red book or pcgs)? and i cant seem to get the numis guide past ms60 so i dont know past that. can any1 help?

i to have a coin graded and slabed that is not regestering as anything. it is a 2003 s$1 american heroes edition jessica lynch pcgs. the number on it reads: 72318137 it is a graded silver eagle but it wont add to my collection regester. if it is not going to go on i think they need to buy back coin.

found out the hard way

when i sent gsa morgans in .... i sent them in the boxxes with certs. BIG mistake! now that i know how to send i will know,but not sure what they do with these types of things. being that ppl on ebay sell just the boxxes for 30 bucks or so i think they came out nicely in this deal. got paid for grading a coin already slabbed and 30$-60$ in gsa boxxes and certs. reason i sent in with boxxes is it took 4 weeks to get coupon, and as u kan see im inpatiant. im still happy they came back how

gsa morgans came back

and they came back nice.. i recently sent my first grading into ngc. 1883 and 84 gsa morgans... they came back as follows 1884 gsa = ms63 1883 gsa = ms62 pl now i will send my 1882 gsa in and see if it will grade pl also. also im looking for some silver eagles (no proofs).... 87 88 89 90 94 95 96 00 buying for 15-20 a peice (must be ms67-70)unc and am still looking for an 1928 p peace silver dollar(au57-ms60)

i sent in my gsa morgans...

on friday i sent out my first shipment to ngc. 83 gsa cc morgan 84 gsa cc morgan i dont know if i sent in right and am now getting worried. i sent them out b4 i got my coupon or anything due to it taking 3 1/2 weeks to get coupon.i sent thru computer site instead of packets that came with welcome packet.i have read some sending stuff now and am wondering if i sent them in correctly.i sent them in with the box and certs and all. will i get everything back from them or just the coin in case wi

colored silver dollars

just a quik question.... on the silver eagles i have quite the collection of all types....... gold plated silver (full) silver (full) silver (liberty gold plated) silver(colored) silver(hologram) i am to understand that ngc will not grade these coins with color. how do i make a whole collection if some types cannot be graded?

if they want the copy they can have it(ill buy another). i love this place, ty for the post of the 1964 d, i enjoyed reading it. im not 1 to be scared by the gov over a dollar. this coin is a copy & states it. i would not be scared to own the accual coin because being 26 i couldnt be the 1 that took coin.it is very sad that they would even make a coin that would not make it to the publics hands. now a lil swich up...about spot prices,what do people think about the jump in gold and the

im having the gr8est time.

this coin collecting is fun yet brutal...... im having so much fun searching for coins instead of diamonds. dont get me wrong i make good money on diamonds but they are just rocks. ty to all who help. i am learning so much from every1 here. i just barely got into coins when i was handed 5 gsa morgans that my dad didnt even open. still in box.of course i had to open them(im nosy). to my suprise i had about 5000.00 in coins and that was just the gsa morgans.he also had a group of peace dollar

question!!!!

about the sac dollars... the sac dollar is quite popular right now.i like it cause i live next to the shoshone tribe in blackfoot idaho my girlfriend is shoban. i notice on the pcgs price guide that there r two types. goodacre and tomas rogers.the goodacre marked with "gg" being better. i have 2 rolls of sacs with gg under baby on obv. does this make them the goodacre group in pricing?(have 2000p&d)

where do i go now?

now that ive... now that i have only 1 peace silver dollar to find and it is the hardest to find in ms condition at a reasonable price. i was thinking ofcollecting coins of lower mintage, but that would have to be all proof and commemoratives.that is alot of coins.so i thaught about making a second low mintage catagory. 500,000 coins or less 300,000 or less ............. im loking for a lil feedback on what every1 thinks. also if i want to start a low mintage set in regestery would the

im going crazy!!!!!

my peace collection is almost complete.... i say almost cause the darn 1928 p price is just off the charts!! have every single darn coin but that 1. i have looked everywhere i know of and cant find a good looking coin(in my mind). trying to locate a ms60 1928 p ungraded coin, will pay 375 pluss all shipping needs. or i have a couple gsa cc morgans for trade. can any1 locate for me or if they have will they sell?

grading

just adding to posts. i am a gia gg student( gemologist through gia) i used to have a local jeweler grade my diamonds and such, but then i found through my school that "any1 can grade or appraise, there is no law saying u have to have a cert." this is true but there are people out there that have taken courses and many grading practices b4 being cert. appr. i joined ngcs collectors corner due to there grading ability.ngc and pcgs are the top known grading services.meaning (i hope)that they

pcgs pricing...

wow are the silver eagles reg strike realy worth as much as pcgs says? i have 2 whole sets and 1 half set. i get these at a local store for 15$ apc regardless of date. and how long does it take to get the 5 free grading cupons?i have been saving to get things graded and cant untill i get thos to save a lil money. also what is the best grading teir to get a set of peace dollars graded? thank u all for the warm welcomes and help.if you need any questions anwsered about gems let me know that is

? in the skale: au ms60,......where does the bu come in? is it better than ms69. and gsa morgans being that mine say unciculated does that make them ms67+?
