robec1347
I like the 41-D the best out of those three, but all really nice Bob! And as usual, the images are stunning! Best, HT thank you HT. I can't take credit for the photos though. Phil Arnold did the TrueView. ?
Coindude
Robec, Joe and Jom those are some super nice pickups. Joe I may be biased being a native Texan but the Texas commem is my favorite of the whole series and I love the look of yours.

jpcienkus
Thanks Sam and Bob. I've been looking for a Texas that would catch my eye and this one certainly did. I've really come to love the artistry of this design as well. Both the reverse and obverse are so interesting. This coin has a nice patina and some very subtle color. I appreciate your kind feedback. I have it in hand and it's everything I expected. Edited September 28, 2014 by jpcienkus

jpcienkus
Speaking of mirrors, had to get this one. It's a match to the 80-S I posted earlier in this thread. This one is a MS65 DPL. Might be a point overgraded as there's some distracting contact marks around the eyes and nose. They both reside in old no-line fatties and have a little purple/indigo on the rims. The fields on this one are a little cleaner and has nice mirrors.

jpcienkus
I do see the marks. Its a bit too deep for me based on images. Looking at the coin in hand, the only real contact mark runs across the high cheek. It's not very deep. The other marks are abrasions when the coin rubbed against another at some point. They look worse in the picture as it tries to capture the deep mirrors that are on the coin.

Hard Times
As I like them - some color other than gray or black, no major hits, just good ole honest wear, and from the New Orleans mint.
