Very Nice 35 Peace Dollar.

On the reverse, under the 'O' of 'ONE' there looks to be a very pronounced die scratch. Is that possibly a photographic aberration or something in the slab?

If it is a die scratch, I did not see a VAM listing for a 35-P with that particular die scratch in the descriptions so maybe something to look into if it is indeed a die scratch.

That's a light scratch on the coin. Not as severe as the pic makes it look. (didn't even notice it till you mentioned it) The marker for this VAM 1H is actually on the opposite side of the reverse. It's a very large die scratch to the right of the last ray.

P.S.- This ones still raw, so no slab scratches to look through. ;)

Cracked out and currently in Sarasota.

My pictures make it look much rougher than in hand. I wish I knew how to soften things up so every mark doesn't look fatal.

1880 S was in a PCI MS 65 holder. I think they got it right and I'm hoping for an MS 65 from NGC as well. The photos don't show the eye appeal like in hand but it's like a cameo proof obverse and "some" cameo on the reverse.

I'll know in a week or so.

PCGS 55...actually a rather proof-like coin that you can't see in photo.
