My latest addition to the MPL set. This will finish it for a long while.

Dang Bob, gorgeous. Gonna shoot it yourself? Like to see a side by side comparison.

Debated whether or not to post my $65 dollar pawn shop pickup, with coins like that. The deal presented itself and I'm thinking it's all of a 64. Purchased raw in an old brittle flip, with yellowed paper describing it.

Okay, guys. Haven't been looking in here for quite awhile but was home and had time on my hands so I started looking at all the cool coins so I thought I'd add a few of my recent pickups. First is what I consider my greatest auction score. I posted these on another board but I am sure there are some of you that don't cruise that one so I'll post here too. They are currently in the grading process at NGC and will hopefully be mailed this Friday. I am anxious to see how they all grade out.

Can't compare to those MPLs but I just got this 1910-S Lincoln and am happy with it. I'll post it in "Spare a Grade" for guesses:

Thanks everyone. It was a fun set to assemble.

Justin and Scott, the only photo shown that is my photo is the 1911.

The others are taken from TrueViews.

I felt the 1911 TrueView didn't do capture the coin's in hand look. All the other photos are very close. I think Phil's photos lean a little to the red side.

A couple more of my newbies. 1921 Peace I got at local coin and money auction held about every 3 months and the Kennedy I had and sent in for grading cause I liked the toning. I have another one pretty much just like it graded the same. The 1921 is much more toned in hand than in my amateur pics.

Hello CoinDude; Your 1912 Matte Proof Lincoln Cent is absolutely stunning! It is so beautiful that I had to take a minute and just stare at it in awe. You made a superior choice and I would like to congratulate you of your recent acquisition. Are you going to or are you currently forming a Lincoln Cent matte proof collection? I would totally go for it except the cost factor is prohibitive. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous specimen with us.

czar yes I am planning on completing the set. I agree that this example is exactly incredible and it will be hard to complete a matching set but I am going to try! And thank you so much for your kind comments, I know I paid a lot but I'm happy with it and hope to add more, slowly!

Beautiful nickel. I sometimes regret getting rid of my Buffalo registry set a couple of years ago. A gorgeous design.
