I was doing a little surfing for the latest Innovation dollar coins and came across this colorized version of the 2023 Indiana Innovation dollar.  Blah!  I didn't know a "classic production car" was available back then in puke purple. (:

I'm going to sound like VkurtB  here and say I absolutely despise colorized coinage of any type. They look to me like carnival play money. I cant get behind painted or powder coated coins. They are no longer coins but sharply leaning into Chucky Cheese Pizza Token territory. Bleechk ... no thanks.

One of the most reverent reproductions produced. . .

Success in 1977 with Duesenberg II - In 1977 one company did manage to recapture the exclusive Duesenberg Character.  Founded by Richard Braund, a restoration specialist in Elroy Wisconsin, the trademarked Duesenberg II was born.

That colorized $1 coin was pretty bad, but still not as horrible as some of the colorized ASEs I have seen.

Yes I have seen some of those red white and blue painted ASE's they are horrible and expensive. I saw one at antique store down south for $60 and said to the clerk that coins is only worth $32 brand new and now that it has all that junk on it I think it is worthless.
