Got some new stuff for my collection. Anything welcome but I would like to know more about the 2015 Silver Eagles.

So I came across these. I read that 2015 Silver Eagles can be valuable if they were produced from the Philadelphia mint because of the small mintage but the only way to know or cert is to have the original monster box serial number. Is this the only way for them to be from the Philadelphia mint.

Then a couple other things I already mostly know about.

You are correct that the 2015 (P) Silver Eagle (Philadelphia mint) bullion coins are worth a few hundred dollars for a high MS grade, and possibly quite a lot more for an MS70 ... https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/2015-p-1-silver-eagle-total-mintage-79-640-coins/624711/70

The only way to get the Philadelphia mint designation on the slab label is if coins are submitted to a TPG in sealed mint containers designating that.  Otherwise your out of luck as none of the bullion coins have mint marks. ... https://www.coinworld.com/news/precious-metals/no-philadelphia-mint-labels-for-certified-2015-silver-eagles.html

And the 1921 Morgans are poorly struck mass produced coins that have a bad reputation and are not worth very much.

[Instead of a few million struck, it was around 20 to 40 million at each mint in 1921 with high speed striking]

I know about the 1921 Morgan sadly. On the bright side atleast it was all free. I thought that was the case to all of the above about the 2015 Silver Eagles. Bummer just the mint tube not the monster box with the serial number dang that would have been nice :'(

I think the mint tube counts as long as it has a mint seal and number ?

This mint seal? I couldn't tell you I have never had a tube of Silver Eagles until now. By number do you mean a single digit or a serial number?

As the bullion versions of 2015 Silver Eagles have no mint marks or other known ways to tell at which mint facility they were coined from examination of the coins themselves, they should all be considered one issue with a reported mintage of 47 million pieces, the highest in the series through at least 2020. The "Redbook" and other printed guides properly make no distinction between them. The certification of alleged Philadelphia-minted pieces based on purported markings on the box out of which they came, which cannot be subsequently verified, is simply a marketing ploy. If you pay a premium for them, you are paying it for the printing on a little paper tag, not for the coin.

The mint tubes in the monster boxes do not have seals as far as I known.  So if they do not arrive at the TPG in the still sealed 500 coin box with the correct serial number and/or the proper band around the box (each mint uses a different band) they will not get the coveted designation.
