Patman54
This is from a new roll from the mint that I opened and found 1 coin that looks like this. WHAT IS THIS CALLED?. It looks unpolished but other parts are. Thanks 😊 And would this be considered an error?
Henri Charriere
A "new" 13-year old Mint roll. No complaints about its companions housed in sardine-like conditions. Never had a chance to circulate. I don't see a viable/valid claim of post-mintage damage. It will be interesting to read the comments sure to follow on what caused this type of damage.  🤔
Woods020
Looks like it was struck through a lot of grease
Patman54
I was thinking Grease as well. But honestly don't know.
Oldhoopster
Agree that it's a struck through error (debris filled die).
