Great coin.

What do you use to get such great shots on an iphone?

Thanks! Acquisitions for me can be few and far between in this series.

iPhone 6s on 10 sec timer burst

2 Ott lights at about 45

Balance my iPhone on the side of the box

Zoom & crop in native apple app

I'm sure there is some reflection spots. I haven't looked that close since these wee on the fly.

I envy you because I'd love to own one of those coins!

A question: Is it the angle of the shot or perhaps the angle of the coin tilted in the slab that make the denticles on the right side of the coin look so different from those on the left?

That's a real nice one...a lot of meat with wear on just the high points.

The hair is almost flawless and also looks to have original skin.

Great pics, too.

It is struck a little off center. Not uncommon with the early dollars.

Although...my photos may have been taken at a slight angle as the iPhone was balanced precariously on the edge of a box.

Feel fortunate to have run across it and been in a position to take advantage. You all nailed the points that stood out to me and made it hard to pass it by. Thanks for your comments.

Uhhh...somebody put an advertising sticker over part of the label description. Can that be removed?
