18 posts in this topic

pretty excited about these, got them on ebay, the one listing (44-s) was from greattoning, i think he/she is a member here? the other one i think may be a surprise, good or bad. It was describes as having irredescent type toning that didnt come out well in photos, we will see when it gets here, i have hard time myself taking pics of irredescent coins so it may look even better, either way that one was the cheaper of the two

Get a Appalachian... well worth the money

i have been wanting one for the longest time, problem is only ones i know of available are on ebay, there are 3 listed from this seller, i think he posts on here occasionally, he has them listed from $500 up to $1500 i believe. i really want a nice purple and green one, looks awesome. maybe i will send him a best offer, but i need to sell some other coins before doing that

$500 to $1,500 sounds far too high for those common coins. Even with the toning.

Until you hold it in your hand. Lehigh takes great pics but what you can't see in his pics is they are typically all luster bombs and far more explosive in hand than you can ever imagine!

They truly are a work of "art" or "artistry" or both....

i have bought one toned war nickel from lehigh on ebay and it was cheap like $60 or maybe even less, and it was one of my favorite purchases at that price point, i would have paid triple for it,it is awesome

the coins arrived today, the 44-s is amazing, already knew it would be and the 45-s is definitely better than ebay pics, i can try to take some and see how they come out
