When a dealer goes above and beyond

At last month's Parsippany coin show I sold a piece to a dealer for what I thought was a fair price and was happy with the transaction. When I saw him again today, he told me he sold the piece very quickly and at better money than he was expecting. He then proceeded to write me out a check for $250. What a class act!

That is almost hard to believe. A rare breed indeed! If I were you---I'd throw more business his way.

It seems clear that he/she wants to win you over as a repeat customer. Leaving this quality of a favorable impression should do the trick. I'd gladly repeat this story since it can only do him good.

I can't imagine he'd object to you using his name. A good deed should be commended.

I actually had Mark Feld do the same thing for me... The best dealer I have ever met in this biz and he has more ethics than most people I know in life.

Definitely mention his name - he deserves more business. And list his website if he has one.
