if those are just frost disruptions on the cheek, and NOT scratches, I think the fields are clean enough to get a 64PL. If they ARE scratches 63PL

I'm sitting on the fence with 63+PL

 

I don't think the fields are shiny enough for a DMPL and the 'scarface' look isn't good on any Morgan. Very pretty though.

Thanks for everyone's participtation. I believe SEGS designation of DMPL is borderline. MS 62 is about right. :hi:

Interesting! From the image of the whole slab, I'm inclined to agree. It looks like SEGS gave the proper numeric grade, but was liberal using the DMPL designation.
