I'm always looking for a star, do ya think this one would make the cut?

I don't collect quarters but I picked this one up cause it was purdy. Do you think it's star worthy? Thanks for looking...Joe

Just my opinion and I'm not sure how the stars go out but for me, I don't think so. It has some nice color but I would think at that year, they would be looking for cleaner surfaces also. If the Obv was as nice as the Rev, then probably!

No, absolutely no star for this one. Its nice, but its nowhere near exceptional.

Even if the surfaces were nicer, I don't think it would rate a star because of the two-sided toning. I've seen more coins blast white on one side get a star than one that has toning on both sides.

Thanks for all the help. I don't collect Washington quarters, especially CLAD ones. But this one I made an exception because of it's color, looks nicer than my 6.1 megapixels will pick up. I need a new box. Thanks again it's always appreciated....Joe

No, not nearly enough color contrast. Just looks lightly and typically toned.
